This stunning family holiday home is perfectly located in Seasalter and has direct access to the beach offering a perfect family getaway for keen water sports enthusiasts with its quiet shingle beach which is the perfect sport for kayaking or swimming. Just a short drive from the property is one of Kent’s most celebrated seaside towns: Whitstable – famous for its oysters which are celebrated every July at the Oyster Festival and a fantastic place for those who enjoy eating out and sampling the local food. Why not take a bike ride along the seafront or follow the Crab and Winkle Way which runs along the coast from Reculver to Herne Bay. Nearby is the city of Canterbury, which is home to the country’s oldest Cathedral. Enjoy a spot of retail therapy or visit the ancient ruins of St Augustine's Abbey and St Martin's Church which form Canterbury's UNESCO World Heritage site.

Step inside this property and enter into the hallway where there is space for dropping off sandy shoes and hanging coats, and then head on through into the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with the most fantastic panoramic sea views. The kitchen area is well-equipped for family entertaining with everything you may need for creating delicious family meals and the central island with bar stools is a sociable place to enjoy a morning coffee or chat whilst dinner is prepared, before gathering the family together around the large dining table which overlooks the garden and beach beyond. The lounge area is comfy and relaxing with a wood burner for chilly evenings and a Smart TV for catching up on your favourite programmes. Heading back into the hallway you will find the first two bedrooms: a king-size with an en-suite bathroom and a bunk room with an additional trundle bed for an extra child and an en-suite shower room. Both bedrooms also have a Smart TV. Completing the ground floor is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer and a separate ground floor WC. Heading up to the first floor you will find the master bedroom which offers a king-size bed, Smart TV and spectacular views along the Kent coastline. French doors open onto the balcony where you can savour the salty sea air first thing in the morning or enjoy a relaxing coffee. The first floor is completed with a shower room with WC.

French doors open from the lounge area out to a decked area with patio seating and an Egg charcoal BBQ, A fire pit at the end of the garden also offers the perfect spot for toasting marshmallows whilst star gazing in the evening. A garden gate at the end of the garden gives direct access to the beach and there is an outdoor warm tap for washing off sandy toes.

Great location. Cottage has a high specification with aircon throughout. Fantastic living and outside space and the main suite upstairs is fantastic. The second bedroom is cosy, but hey its only for sleeping.

For anyone looking for a perfect location with direct access to the beach and location to Whitstable within walking distance this ticks every box, the owner was super friendly and accommodating. If there was one complaint then it was very windy one day

A very spacious, well equipped, clean, homely property with all mod coms & wonderful views out to sea. The log burner was most welcome given the inclement weather conditions however, the whole property was more than warm enough without it. Very well equipped. Comfortable and cosy, when the wind and rain is beating down and its a little cool outside, we think would be excellent in the summer months. More of a home than a let. Ideal location for beach walks into Whitstable, which offers dining options of all standards year round.

A slice of luxury in Kent coastal wilderness. We come to Seasalter every year and this was our first time at 'The Hut'. The combination of homeliness and high end comfort was spot on. Kitchen was well stocked for all our needs, as we mostly cook for ourselves and a wine fridge! This a beautiful house in an amazing location right on the beach. Its really well equipped with attention to detail - there are coffee pods for the coffee maker, charging cables for phones by the bed, a warm outdoor door dog shower and a really well equipped kitchen. We chose to eat in a lot as The Hut was so comfortable with its views of the sea aRead morend sunsets. We did find some great pubs in Whitstable and Faversham and lots to explore on the north Kent coast. I suspect we will be back. Hide

We had an amazing time at The Hut. It's modern and clean but with everything you need to feel at home. It was the perfect place to enjoy relaxed days by the water with our dog (having a fully enclosed garden made life SO easy!) - but it was also really near some lovely seaside towns! Can't wait to come back!!

A wonderful weekend. The Hut is a lovely accommodation, extremely well equipped and beautifully clean. It is well placed to travel to local areas. We went to Canterbury and Faversham, which are both less than 20 minutes away. We had some lovely morning walks on the beach and accommodation is very dog friendly. The Hut is practically on the beach but with its own beach garden. The living, kitchen and dining area is tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished. Combined with the views across the estuary, I can't think of a better space within which to cook, socialist and relax. We have just returned from a wonderful week away, the photos don't do this place justice, we honestly could have stayed for 2 weeks simply relaxing. Hosts were very helpful I had to contact them shortly after arriving as belive or not I couldn't locate the cutlery, received a very friendly response Immediately. Absolutely fantastic house. Location is amazing House is perfect for a family getaway The house is so well equipped - even down to having a selection of decaff tea, coffee and even coffee pods!
