Ideally situated in a quiet rural setting, this home-from-home is the perfect base for couples looking to explore the coastline.  The beach at Climping is an SSI and further along the coast the West Witterings offers an unspoilt sandy beach nestled behind the dunes with views across to the Isle of Wight. Keen walkers can take advantage of the numerous footpaths, beautiful gardens and National Trust properties in the local area, and this central location is also perfect for visiting Goodwood race course and Fishbourne Roman Palace. The property is also within easy reach of Chichester, renowned for its cathedral, the Chichester Festival Theatre and cosmopolitan shopping in its quaint cobbled streets

A small courtyard brings you to this pretty semi detached cottage, beautifully decorated throughout. Step into the hallway where there is space for dropping off coats and shoes before heading through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The cosy lounge area offers a great space to curl up on the sofa in front of the Smart TV/DVD and enjoy a good film after a busy day sightseeing. French doors from the lounge lead into the conservatory where you can relax in a comfy chair and use the telescope for star gazing through the glass roof.  The dining table and two chairs close by makes for a delightful social environment in which to enjoy home-cooked meals which have been whipped up in the well-equipped kitchen. This spacious area boasts a gas oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher, DAB radio and coffee machine. The shower room with shower and WC is also located on the ground floor. When you’re ready you can retreat after a long day to the sumptuous master bedroom which features a king size bed with memory foam mattress and has views over the garden.

Heading outside there is a charming, private enclosed garden with a bistro table and chairs and sun loungers, the perfect spot for unwinding after a long day exploring and enjoying al fresco dining within the pretty surroundings. There is storage for bicycles and private parking for one car.

A lovely, comfortable cottage. bed very comfortable as was settee and conservatory chairs. Very peaceful location. Owners very friendly and helpful. Will book again

The property was great for a couple. We particularly enjoyed the conservatory. The location was ideal for exploring Chichester and the coastal area through to Bognor which are all within easy reach.

Really comfortable property, including comfy bed and soft cotton bedlinen. Well equipped kitchen and good shower. Conservatory is really nice, and private garden makes you feel like you are completely private. Useful shed for bikes. Really helpful owner. Very close to Witterings, Chichester and Bognor but completely off the beaten track.

The cottage had everything you need, as well as a few nice touches like a bottle of Prosecco and dressing gowns. The conservatory and enclosed garden was lovely and quiet. The guest guide book was very helpful with lots of places to visit including postcodes, and we wasnt far from the main roads. Although it is dog friendly, they are not allowed upRead morestairs, which was not stated in the booking. Hide
