Located on the grounds of the owner’s property this beautiful cottage offers a semi-rural location on the edge of the village of Kingsnorth and within walking distance of the pub and shop. Hop in the car to nearby Ashford (2 miles) for a visit to the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet or enjoy a trip to the Kent coastline at Hythe (14 miles) where you can pick up the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway and take a trip along the coast to nearby Dungeness. Dog walkers will enjoy the many footpaths that lead from your doorstep across the Kent countryside, and those looking for a spot of culture can enjoy a visit to nearby Godinton House and Gardens which is just 5.5 miles away. For those looking to explore further afield, Canterbury with its Cathedral and the Marlowe Theatre is around 20 miles away.

Enter the property into the welcoming hallway and head through into the spacious kitchen/diner which acts as the real hub of the home offering a well-equipped kitchen area with a range-style electric cooker and five ring induction hob, dishwasher, fridge, Nespresso Original coffee machine and microwave. Whip up a delicious family meal before sitting down to dine at the large dining table with seating for eight guests. Just off the kitchen area is a handy utility room with a washing machine, tumble drier, fridge/freezer, and a back door out into the garden. From the dining area head back through the hallway to the cosy lounge with two large comfortable sofas, armchair, a wood burner, and a smart TV with Sky – perfect for getting the family together on chilly evenings. The first of the bedrooms is located on the ground floor and is a super-king bed (can be made into a twin on request). The ground floor is completed with a separate WC. A narrow set of stairs from the dining area lead up to the master king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room with WC. From the hallway, the second set of stairs leads to the remaining two bedrooms: a super-king bed (can be made into a twin on request) with an additional pull-out single trundle, and a double bed. The family bathroom is on this floor too and has a shower over the bath and WC.

Heading outside to the front of the property there is ample patio seating from which to enjoy the rural views, and at the rear of the property is a hot tub with an overhead canopy which can be enjoyed in all weathers.  The outside area is fully enclosed.

Directions to Stone Cottage are very accurate using Sat Nav and the Postcode . The road turns Rural as you approach the cottage.We arrived 15 mins early but were able to access via the Key Box Postcode. Helen the owner lives directly opposite and was there to introduce herself and gave us a guided tour of the cottage with helpful advice to whereRead more everything was including the Hot Tub. The weather for the end of May was at Record temps and we had our 3 Grand Children under 13 on holiday with us so I asked Helen if we could use our pool and Water slide in the garden ? This property is very comfortable, a real home from home with everything you may need for a break with family groups and four legged friends. What a lovely place to stay, our host Helen was very helpful and lovely. The cottage was well equipped. We stayed with our family and three dogs, everyone had a great time and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the cottage and the surrounding area. This is our 2nd visit to Stone Cottage, a group of 6 girlfriends for our annual pre Christmas break. The Cottage is very much 'home from home'. The owner 'Helen' has all of the 'details' covered. Cleanliness is first class and the accommodation is very comfortable. All of the bedrooms provide a good night's sleep, and the lounge is equipped with a Read morelovely fireplace for cosy nights in. A very clean house that has an excellent layout for families. The host lives in a property on the same site and she is extremely attentive - giving a full guided tour of the property and how all gadgets and white goods work on arrival and cleaning the hot tub in the back part of the garden on a daily basis. You cant go wrong with Stone Cottage. From the welcome, the house, the hot tub, the gorgeous interiors. It was a pleasure to say there. Everything you need is in the house. Beautiful Dog Friendly Cottage. We had a lovely stay over Xmas and were made to feel so welcome by Helen. The property doesnt want for anything and theres plenty of space for everyone to not be on top of each other. Fantastic dog walks on the door step (our 3 loved that!) and a very friendly, welcoming pub about 10/15 minutes walk down the road. Fantastic cottage, dully equipped with plenty of space. Super pet friendly with all fences chicken wired and enclosed spaces so I was able to let my dog roam freely.
