Perfectly situated in the bustling seaside town of Bognor Regis, this quiet and secluded cottage is just a short walk from the beach (100 metres), so is ideal for families, keen swimmers, and water sports enthusiasts. The local High Street (50 metres) offers a good array of independent shops restaurants, cafes and pubs while the train station (0.4 miles) provides direct trains from London to the Coast in under 2 hours. For keen walkers, it’s close to the South Downs, a great place to enjoy a variety of countryside walks, cycling and horse riding, and just 9 miles from the Goodwood Estate, which hosts numerous motorsports, horse racing, golf and shooting events throughout the year. All within 20 miles are the historical city of Chichester, which is home to the cathedral, Arundel Castle and Petworth House, where you'll find one of the finest National Trust art collections. This recently renovated cottage (Sept 2023) is tucked away from the main road with access via a twitten.

Enter the cosy lounge, which is the heart of the home and has comfortable seating arranged around a Smart TV and electric flame-effect fire, perfect for cosying up on a chilly evening. From the lounge, head into the well-equipped kitchen which has a table and chairs and everything you will need for whipping up delicious family meal before sitting down to dine in the adjoining conservatory, which has large dining table with seating for six, comfortable seating and a Smart TV which include SKY cinema Sports and NETFLIX. A door from the conservatory leads out into the garden. The first of the three bedrooms is located on the ground floor, just off the lounge, comprising of a 4ft orthopaedic double bed with adjustable settings, a Smart TV and an en-suite shower room. From the lounge, there is a small hallway with a desk and chair and stairs that lead up to the first floor. There are two further bedrooms on the first floor: a king-size and a twin room, both of which have Smart TVs. These two rooms share the family bathroom, and the washing machine is also located on this floor.

Heading outside, there is a fully enclosed courtyard garden which acts as a sun trap for most of the day. With an outside dining table and six chairs, alongside two recliner chairs, this is the perfect space to enjoy outside entertaining, or just relax with a good book and soak up the sunshine.

This is a beautiful cottage set back from the road so is really quiet. The garden is enclosed and fairly private so great for sitting out in the evening with a tipple, the patio furniture is great with reclining chairs, the lay out inside is really good wether your all adults or families with children, downstairs bedroom and bathroom was perfect foRead morer less mobile guests, they have thought of everything up to the plastic glasses for outdoor drinking, only thing we didnt like was the stiff seating in the lounge the sky tv channels and large screen tv in sun room was an extra and tv in every bedroom Hide

This property was fabulous. Very central and the park 5 minutes away. The garden was totally secure which was perfect for our dogs. The choice of rooms to relax in was really special and the TVs were all well connected especially the lounge for Sky and Netflix.

This idyllic cottage near to all amenities became a nightmare due to poor drains and rats.

We have had a lovely holiday, cottage is very well equipped and spacious. Weather had been very good so we were able to get out and about using public transport. The beach and town were within walking distance. We also made use of the garden which had a good amount of garden furniture.

Location was fantastic, being so central we didn't need to use the car. The Town Centre, Hotham Park and the Seafront were all within easy walking distance. The cottage, whilst quirky in layout, was lovely and we hope to be able to stay there again. It has a wonderful homely feel to it and is shielded from any traffic noise from the High Street. A lovely spacious cottage, well appointed and in a fantastic location, just a 5-minute walk from the sea front. Set far back from the main road, we had no problems with letting dogs and toddlers roaming independently (though the luggage did take a bit of hauling along the gravel path!)

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at southview cottage! So quiet, tucked away from the road, very relaxing! We had such a wonderful stay at Southview in Bognor the cottage was clean and well equipped with all you would need while there the garden was very secluded and in the sunshine most of the day.
