The cottage was really comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great for walks along the canal and within driving distance to plenty of National Trust properties. We were delighted with our stay at Millers Barn: Alison went out of her way to make us welcome and to give us clear, detailed directions. Everything we required was provided in the cottage and it proved a very good centre for visiting the area. The only problem was not being able to fit in all we wanted to do. Never mind, we can always return!

The barn at Mill Cottage is a perfect place to spend your holiday. Apart from the beautiful setting and the surrounding area, the barn itself is perfect and well-equipped. Try it, you will not be disappointed!

The owner was very friendly and the cottage was superb. We cant thank the owner and her family enough for all the small touches including the Xmas decorations and cake prepared before our arrival. The barn was very cosy and warm with the addition of a fireplace and a lovely location

We hoped it would match up to its description, and it duly did by some margin. Alison Laker met us when we arrived and made us very welcome. The cottage was very well equipped and prepared - we couldn't have asked for better.
