This apartment is exquisitely located overlooking the West Sussex countryside on the edge of the pretty village of Rudgwick close to village pubs and farm shops. Enjoy scenic walks from the doorstep along footpaths that link up with the Sussex/Surrey border path and Wey South Path, both offer some of the most attractive walking routes in the area. Take a trip to nearby Petworth (10 miles) with its selection of independent shops and cafes, that’s also home of the beautiful Petworth House, renowned for the National Trust’s largest collection of artwork. Chichester is only a short drive away (25 miles) with its famous cathedral and is a shopper’s paradise offering boutique shopping combined with places to eat and drink. A set of external steps lead up to this spacious apartment where a warm welcome awaits.

Stepping inside you will find a well-equipped kitchen with views looking over the lake. The kitchen offers everything you need for whipping up a delicious meal for two including an electric oven and hob, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge, wine chiller, and dishwasher. The light and airy open-plan lounge/diner offers the most fantastic views across the lake and Sussex countryside making it the perfect spot to unwind after a busy day. The dining table with seating is set in front of the Juliette balcony, throw the French doors open and enjoy the fabulous views over dinner before retiring for the evening to the comfy sofa and catching up on your favourite TV programmes on the Smart TV. The king-size bedroom offers the same spectacular views, and the property is completed with a shower room with a large walk-in shower and WC.

Heading outside you will find a secluded private patio area with a table and chairs overlooking the lake and grounds. Just a few metres away in the walled garden the swimming pool beckons which is shared with the owners who live nearby. Guests are able to use the swimming pool between mid May and the end of September by arrangement. In this beautiful sun trap area, there are several sun loungers for enjoying a spot of sunbathing.

Great location and really enjoyed the views from the apartment. But disappointed by the condition of the property which needs some TLC and the small outside patio area

This property delivered much more expected. The location is so very peaceful and picturesque which is why we chose it. The addition of wildlife that are attracted to the large pond was a significant benefit to being there. Relaxing, peaceful, and with such a strong connection to nature. We had a very relaxing stay. The property had everything that you might need It was comfortable and had a lovely view over the lake The Llamas watched our coming and goings every day I would definitely recommend a stay here

Accommodation was excellent and just what we were looking for. Located in a quiet and peaceful area but within travelling distance of main facilities. Accommodation was very clean and tidy and equipped with all we needed.

This is a wonderfull place to stay. Calm and remotely holiday in the countryside. Pub nearby with good food.

A really lovely apartment with fabulous views! Beautiful countryside as far as the eye can see in all directions.The lake with the pair of Aylesbury ducks, moorhens with 5 babies, dragonflies, the heron etc. Gorgeous meadow with 2 alapacas, the swimming pool in the walled garden, great pub within walking distance, lots lovely walks, Loxwood canal nRead moreearby and not forgetting the Milk Churn cafe! We had a fabulous Christmas week in this lovely cosy lakeside apartment, with two friendly ducks, moorhens and Llamas in the next field! Fantastic facilities, comfortable bed and very well laid out bathroom, kitchen and lounge. Lots of storage cupboards to keep things tidy. Didn't get to use the pool as it was winter but that too looked fabulous ifRead more we get to come back in the summer. Very helpful and friendly host.
