Hastings itself is to the south (7 miles), with attractions including Hastings Castle, Hastings Aquarium and Smugglers Adventure, as well as a sand and shingle beach with a Victorian pier and bustling promenade. Other popular destinations include the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill, Brede Steam Giants and Great Dixter House and Gardens, all within 10 miles.
