Very comfortable and extremely clean cottage in a quiet, secluded spot but with ample shops and supermarkets just minutes away. We will definitely book again.

Lovely, comfortable cottage, in a very peaceful, rural location. Surrounded by Historic House and National Trust properties, which were all well worth a visit. Lovely comfortable cottage in a nice quiet setting within easy reach of Tenterdon with its lovely independent shops and restaurants. We have visited Kent before but with Amanda's helpful suggestion we found plenty of new places to go. We would not hesitate to go back again.

Another wonderful stay at Readers Retreat! Perfect location and hosts. House was immaculate, comfortable, and quiet. Nothing was too much trouble and the hosts went out of their way to ensure our stay was a lovely one, with many local recommendations and provision of local produce. We will back for a third visit for sure!
