This spacious property, which can sleep up to five guests, is ideal for those wishing to explore the natural beauty of the Kent Downs. With the pretty Kent countryside right on your doorstep, you will never be far from nature here. You’ll find an abundance of woodland, footpaths, wildlife and birds to explore and discover around the nearby village of Stelling Minnis. In the village, there is a friendly pub, a shop and post office, and the Church of St Mary Stelling which dates back to the 13th century. The Stelling Minnis Windmill and Museum is a beautiful structure and fascinating experience for children and adults alike. The historic town of Canterbury is located a short drive (approximately 8 miles) from the property and is well worth a visit. Explore the cobbled streets of this medieval cathedral city and discover breathtaking architecture, modern boutiques, fantastic eateries and more. Whether it’s a brisk walk through beautiful woodland, a slow amble around the local village or city of Canterbury, or simply reading a book in the pretty garden at the property, you get to choose the pace of your holiday retreat here.

Excellent accomodation in a perfect location. An easy drive to Kent's north coast and south coast, plus convenient for Canterbury and its cathedral.

We had such a lovely stay at Apple Barn - all very well equipped and extremely clean and tidy, set in a beautiful part of the countryside for walks and pubs and trips to the beach. It was great to have Malcolm around should we have needed anything. Would thoroughly recommend and hope to be back!
