This quirky period property is nestled in the port town of New Romney, just 7 miles from Dungeness and its desert-like beachscape. For keen explorers, it’s also within easy reach of the nearby towns of Rye (12 miles), Ashford (16.5 miles) and the beautiful beach at Camber Sands (9.5 miles). Just a mile from this cottage, you can enjoy a trip on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, which runs from Dungeness to Hythe, and is the perfect way to enjoy the stunning local landscape. For something a little different, there are many vineyard trails in this area – all with the chance to sample some of the finest English wines on offer. New Romney itself offers a wide range of local shops and eateries. For some fresh air, blow the cobwebs away with a wide range of cycle trails and footpaths on the doorstep.
