This single-storey cottage, perfect for families of all ages, is situated in the heart of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the ideal location for peace and relaxation. Located on the owners’ farm within 250 metres of the pub at Bodle Street Green, this property is the ideal family base for visiting the Herstmonceux Science Centre (3.5 miles) or Drusillas Park (12 miles) and is not far from Bedgebury Pinetum (15 miles) with its Go Ape tree top walk. For the grown-ups, Batemans and the wonderful Pashley Manor Gardens are close by. If you're feeling energetic, why not put on your walking boots and try the 1066 Walk or the Cuckmere Valley Trail? A paddle at the seaside is 7 miles away in Pevensey Bay. Alternatively, Hastings, with its award-winning pier and delightful 'old town', is 14 miles from your door.

This is a home full of rural charm. The open-plan living space is bright and airy, with lofty ceilings supported by exposed beams and wooden floors underfoot. Light floods in through dual-aspect patio doors, offering beautiful countryside views from the dining area and the comfy seating. An attractively converted farm building with stunning view and very quiet. We found it easily accessible to many attractions and the beach. We only covered about half of our potential attractions. A very relaxed week and well be back!

The best holiday let we have ever stayed in.Beautiful rural location.The purpose of our visit was to visit close relatives.Otherwise just to have a relaxing break.What a delight it was to watch two Dutch spotted sheep and their four lambs in the field directly behind the cottage.The bird life was amazing.I was even privileged to see a woodpecker,a Read morefirst.Already planning a second visit in the near future. A simple but well equipped small holiday cottage for two/three people or young family. Very peaceful rural location with a lovely outlook over open fields yet still a short drive to many places on the coast and inland in this beautiful part of East Sussex. Particularly suited to anyone requiring wheelchair access to bedroom, bathroom and outside arRead moreea. We stayed in the winter and the cottage was warm and quite cosy. photos you see on line are good but when you get to see it live its only half the size so it is all very small a bit like living in a dolls house garden table and chairs have seen better days in all we were very disappointed

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning landscape that surrounded us. The cottage itself is incredibly quaint, and well appointed with its rustic charm and cozy atmosphere making it the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The cottage was in a good location for exploring the lovely Sussex countryside and also the coast. The owners were friendly and gave us a warm welcome. We appreciated the tea, coffee, milk and chocolate biscuits. The beds and showers were especially good and we enjoyed our stay.

We were happy with the cottage, bathrooms are very good and well equiped. On the whole it provides excellent accommodation with a lovely view from the lounge window. Very quiet and peaceful.

The owners of the Dairy Cottage are THE perfect hosts. On our arrival there was fresh milk, tea, coffee and cookies available. The lovely cottage has all you can dream of. We felt home from home. Most beautiful countryside, very quiet and easy to get to wonderful locations in the area of East Sussex and Kent. We'll be back!

Lovely cosy cottage in a lovely rural location, if you want peace and quiet this is the place for you. For people with problems with mobility it is great as everything is on one level and having a wet room is great.

The cottage has been beautifully converted. It was equipped with absolutely everything we needed, including milk, chocolate biscuits and lovely flowers on arrival. This is a beautiful little cottage in a very quiet rural location. It was perfect for relaxation and ideally situated within easy reach of the Sussex countryside and coast. I would thoroughly recommend it and would like to return for another break as soon as the opportunity arises.
