This charming retreat is ideal for couples or solo travellers to explore the Kent and Sussex countryside. Situated on the edge of the village of Rolvenden, with its historic windmill and Hole Park Gardens, this is an excellent starting point for walkers and garden enthusiasts alike. A 2.5-mile drive brings you to the tree-lined high street of Tenterden, filled with independent shops, pubs and supermarkets. A visit to the award-winning Chapel Down Vineyard in Small Hythe (4.5 miles) is an interesting and enjoyable day out. Alternatively, historic Rye or the beach at Camber Sands are also within 16 miles. Rolvenden itself has a weekly farmers' market, a local shop, a pub and a collection of historic vehicles. There are also Michelin-starred restaurants and a vibrant mix of gastropubs in the neighbouring towns and villages.

From the moment you pull up on the driveway, this delightful, foliage-covered cottage will win your heart. The lovely conservatory is the favoured spot to dine with an antique dining table and chairs alongside comfortable seating from which to enjoy the garden views. French doors lead to the beautiful living room with more comfy seating, Welsh dresser and TV in the corner. The fully-equipped kitchen, inviting double bedroom and panelled bathroom make up the rest of the single-story accommodation.

Outside is a private patio with a dining set, and guests can benefit from the use of the owner's fruit tree-filled garden that leads to an unfenced wildlife pond and summer house.

Fabulous cottage. Comfortable and well equipped. Great location for both coast and countryside, plus easy access to trains for day trips to London. During our week we visited: Bodiam Castle plus KESRailway, Scotney Castle, St Pauls and Southwark Cathedrals, Hastings and Battle, Rye and Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, RHDRailway, Lewis Priory!

We had a great week in The Little House. Thank you to our hosts! Plenty to do in the area and Tenterden has a pretty high street with places to eat if you don't want to cook.We tended to be out and about during the day and come home to a cozy, relaxing space in the evening. Breakfast in the conservatory, with a view of John's lovely garden, the pond and the fields beyond - quiet walks along the wealth of footpaths and country lanes nearby - and The Little House to come home to, warm, cosy, full of charm and superbly equipped. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Lovely little cottage, spotlessly clean, well equipped and cosy. In a great location with lovely countryside and lots to see and do within a 30 minute drive. Our National Trust membership was well used during our stay and we were spoilt for choice for other things to do or places to visit. Tenterden with its tree lined high street is just a short Read moredrive down road with a good selection of shops and supermarkets. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to west Kent and we will certainly recommend Little House to family and friends. Hide

The Little House is a very comfortable, well equipped cottage situated in a delightful area of Kent. It is within easy reach of so many lovely places to visit. I had a wonderful relaxing break and would love to visit again. Jenny and John are very friendly and welcoming hosts.

This is a wonderful location, if you want to explore surrounding countryside and local area of Kent and East Sussex. The hosts are excellent and the garden is fantastic to relax in.

Lovely location with a beautiful garden. The Little House is just so quaint with all the facilities one needs. Charming hosts. Short walk into the village where we had a good meal at The Bull Inn.

The Little House was a lovely find and we really enjoyed our stay in it. It is well equipped and had everything we needed, together with a very high standard of cleanliness. We really enjoyed sitting in the large, wonderful garden. Although the garden is shared with the owners, at no time did we feel intruded upon and they afforded us privacy - Read morethe perfect hosts. The conservatory was an added bonus too, as was the off-road parking. Rolvenden is in a good location and close to many places of interest. Lovely cottage, hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was taken care for. We loved the view over the garden, and although the cottage was close to the house of the owners it felt private enough. We had a very fine week.
