This bright, contemporary barn conversion offers a tranquil getaway for couples or families in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with lots of wildlife, woodlands and walks to discover in the surrounding Kent countryside, including the scenic North Downs Way National Trail. Located in a hamlet near Stelling Minnis, there are plenty of day trip options nearby, including Canterbury (10 miles), where you can visit the famous cathedral and join a guided river tour. If you’re holidaying with children, Port Lympne Safari Park (8 miles) is a must. 

This single-level, eco-friendly stay was painted with organic paint and converted with energy-saving efforts, including ground source heating, ventilation with heat recovery and triple glazing. Enter the open-plan living space, which is bright with large tile floors and big windows. The sitting area is laden with homely furnishings, from the two leather sofas to the TV/DVD. French doors lead to the garden, meaning you’ve lovely rural views from the comfort of your living room. The contemporary kitchen has white units and contrastingly bright wall tiles, as well as a dining table and four chairs. Next to this, there are more doors leading to the other outdoor seating area. There’s a king-size bedroom with a TV and an en-suite with a bath and a handheld shower. The twin bedroom also has a TV and an en-suite shower room.

You’ll benefit from non-enclosed outdoor relaxation spaces at both the front and rear of the property. The paved courtyard at the back of the property has delightful planters and a picnic bench, while the front, gravelled space has seating with vast countryside views.

The accomodation is perfect : modern, with all equipment needed in a quiet location. Great for family or 2 couples.

A lovely property - very comfortable and well situated close to Canterbury and the coast around Hythe. We enjoyed our stay despite the very wet weather.

The property was in a delightful setting. Lots of birds and wildlife, and wild flowers.
