Although it might be considered a bit off the beaten track, we thought it was a great location; we are a bit biased as we have holidayed in Kingsdown before and think that the area, including Deal and up to Sandwich is brilliant. Only thing 'wrong' is it is a pity there is not a cover of some king over the parking space. Most mornings we had to clRead moreean birds droppings for the car, they sit on the wire overhead! Hide

Very well equipped and comfortable cottage with modern kitchen and boiler. The location just yards from the beach is perfect as is the choice of three pubs. Fantastic walks along the promenade to Deal or over the cliffs to St. Margaret's Bay. Would happily rent again

The cottage is in a super location, perfect for early morning walks on the beach. The garden was lovely and very safe for our dog. Overall the cottage was very welcoming to come back to after a day out, clean and well equipped.

Superbly clean property with everything you could want for a lovely holiday. There are 3 pubs and a village shop all within walking distance, and they are dog friendly. Would recommend staying in summer to make use of the beach hut and proximity to the beach.

Lovely, well-equipped cottage in a fantastic location with private parking which is a bonus as is the totally enclosed and secluded little garden. The blurb warned us in advance of the steep staircase which could be a problem for anyone elderly or with joint problems. I would certainly hire the cottage again.

Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. Beach hut was a bonus. Although dogs are allowed they cannot go upstairs which meant one of us had to sleep on settee. Such a shame as we really enjoyed our holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is lovely. So close to the beach and within a short walking distance of three pubs. The cottage is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The dining kitchen is very well equipped with crockery, utensils and cleaning products. There is a well tended, enclosed back garden which was ideal for our spaniel. WRead moree didnt make use of the beach hut as we were out sightseeing every day. Kingsdown is ideally located to visit lots of towns along the south coast. Hide
