This lovely cottage provides a real home-from-home experience and affords an unbeatable coastal location just metres from the sea. Located in Walmer, a quiet seaside town, the property is perfect for couples or families looking for a peaceful retreat. Less than 100 metres from the sea, you are perfectly located for beach days with the family or long romantic strolls with your loved one. If you like walking, then a little further along the beach (approximately 1 mile away) you will find Walmer Castle and Gardens, a breathtaking former Tudor fortress set amid 8 acres of stunning grounds. This is a fantastic place to take children as there is a family play trail which you can all explore. Deal is around 1 mile from the cottage and offers myriad independent shops, pubs and eateries. Well known for its thriving arts scene, there are plenty of galleries to discover whilst meandering through the maze of narrow streets and alleyways. Whether it’s a stroll in nature, a day at the beach or a cosy family lunch eating freshly caught fish, you’re sure to have the best time whilst staying at this property.

You will feel right at home in this cottage from the moment you enter the lounge, which has a traditional cottage feel with nautical-themed art, a comfortable sofa, set of chairs and a TV. Relaxation should come easy in this space after a long day in the sea air. An archway in this room leads to a kitchen/dining space where you can prepare your meals, and sit and enjoy them together. The stairs from the lounge lead straight up to the first floor, where you’ll find two bedrooms (one small double and one king-size) each decorated with comfort in mind with tasteful art on the walls. There’s also a family shower room on this floor.

To the front of the property, you will find a paved patio garden where you can sit and soak up the sunshine on a warm summer’s day.

Comfortable accommodation ideally situated for coastal walks in combination with public transport. We scarcely used the car during our stay as Deal, with its shops and cafes, is only a short walk away along the seafront

Superb cottage very clean and comfortable . Great location walking distance from Deal town which has all the shopping and eating places required . Would definitely return to this delightful cottage .

We were concerned about the lack of information about the cottage actually in the cottage. No explanation of how the heating worked. There were no gas and electrical safety certificates or PAT testing information. The television softwear needed updating to get it to work properly and the TV remote control needed new batteries. Several radiatorsRead more needed bleeding. Information said the bin needed putting out on alternate weeks - no dates given! No separation of refuse for recyling. It is a lovely cottages that needs TLC. Hide
