Located on a cobbled street in the heart of historic Rye, this charming cottage has been decorated to both reflect its fascinating history and offer contemporary conveniences and comfort for all its guests.

The property is situated in the centre of the quintessential English market town of Rye, which features something for everyone. From independent boutique style shops, to treasure troves of antiques, art galleries and a plethora of eateries, including pubs, tearooms and fine dining restaurants. There is even a bijou independent cinema, which shows the latest films as well as lesser-known gems, in comfortable surroundings. For beach lovers, the vast sands of Camber are within a 15 minute drive, where you can pass the time swimming, beachcombing or, for the more adventurous, partaking in a choice of water sports.

Entering this beautiful, listed 16th century cottage from the cobbled streets of Rye, you will walk into the beamed hallway. Off this is the lounge, with striking feature inglenook fireplace and an antique dining table for six. There is comfortable sofa seating and a TV with DVD player. Here you will also find a cupboard of board games, should you fancy a quiet afternoon in. The kitchen has an electric oven and gas hob built into the original inglenook fireplace, as well as fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and dishwasher. Downstairs you will also find a passageway shared with the adjacent apartment, where the washing machine and tumble dryer are located. Two stairs lead down to the bathroom with its underfloor heating and bath. The left hand side of the bathroom is a wet room area with fitted shower. The stairs lead directly into a bedroom with a double bed.,the master bedroom has a king-size bed, . .

There is roadside space for unloading, car parks can be found throughout the town, but there is no private parking due to the property’s central location.

Contd.... .... without your head brushing the light. They are also very hot in the top bunk. 3. A reading light attached to the top bunk. 4. We thoroughly enjoyed our week staying at number 12 West Street. We were so surprised by how quiet it was at night considering it's perfect location in Rye. The house was full of history but had all we needed to remain very comfortable for the duration of the week. We would certainly go back, Christmas would be fun!
