There is even a bijou independent cinema, which shows the latest films as well as lesser-known gems, in comfortable surroundings. For beach lovers, the vast sands of Camber are within a 15 minute drive, where you can pass the time swimming, beachcombing or, for the more adventurous, partaking in a choice of water sports.
Entering this beautiful, listed 16th century cottage from the cobbled streets of Rye, you will walk into the beamed hallway. Off this is the lounge, with striking feature inglenook fireplace and an antique dining table for six. There is comfortable sofa seating and a TV with DVD player. Here you will also find a cupboard of board games, should you fancy a quiet afternoon with the family. The kitchen has an electric oven and gas hob built into the original inglenook fireplace, as well as fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and dishwasher. In here you will also find a small seating area for two, perfect for a quiet coffee. Downstairs you will also find a passageway shared with the adjacent apartment, where the washing machine and tumble dryer are located. Two stairs lead down to the bathroom with its underfloor heating and bath. The left hand side of the bathroom is a wet room area with fitted shower. The stairs lead directly into a bedroom with bunk beds and an additional single bed, suitable for three children. Please note that when the single bed is down, there is limited space around the beds.The master bedroom has a king-size bed, and in the corner of the room, a small area with built in small single bed, perfect for a small child who likes to stay close. This is not suitable for babies, as it is accessed by a two-rung ladder.
There is roadside space for unloading, car parks can be found throughout the town, but there is no private parking due to the property’s central location.
