A peaceful haven in the picturesque port town of New Romney, this charming cottage boasts a perfect spot for your next rural retreat. Enjoy both sea and sand with close proximity to the Kent coast, the Kent Downs AONB and the High Weald AONB, embarking on long walks each day with your nearest and dearest. At home, this accommodation happily sleeps four guests and is ideally suited to a pair of couples holidaying together.

Located on a sleepy street, this deceivingly small property does, in fact, offer spacious accommodation and a vast outdoor space to the rear. On arrival, head into the lounge, throw some logs onto the wood burner and switch on the TV for a totally cosy night in. TV can also be enjoyed in both of the king-size bedrooms on the first floor, where couples can enjoy a touch of privacy or a lazy morning of watching TV in bed. Get together on an evening to make the most of the outdoor space, fully appreciating the furnished decked area with summer house and rattan sofas – a great place to enjoy an evening glass of wine or dining alfresco.

You’ll find New Romney’s High Street less than 50 yards from your doorstep, offering a welcoming pub, plenty of take away options and a deli filled to the brim with local produce. Enjoy a calming 1.5-mile walk into the village of Littlestone, wandering along its Grand Parade and taking in far reaching sea views. For a traditional trip to the seaside be sure to visit the famous Camber Sands (9 miles), or Dungeness (5 miles) whilst outdoor excursions and walks can be embraced in the High Weald (8.5 miles) or the Kent Downs (8 miles).

Throughout we were very pleased to be staying at Jennys cottage for our 40th wedding anniversary and its very convenient for the delights of Dungeness and the Romney, Dymchurch and Hythe railway (well worth a trip). The cottage was very well equipped and being able to sit outside was very welcome in the heat, Jeany sorted out a minor problem very qRead moreuickly and pleasantly. Thoroughly recommend it, the historical aspect alone is worth the visit! Hide

We had a wonderful stay and loved everything about the cottage. It was just the break we needed. Loved all the little touches like bird seed and serviettes, etc. The cottage was welcoming and so comfortable. The decor was beautiful. And the welcome basket was a lovely touch. Thoroughly recommend.

The cottage was incredible, so clean, beautifully decorated & so well equipped. Absolutely faultless. Loved feeding the sparrows during breakfast, (bird seed provided) . Excellent restaurants in the town (used the Indian, Italian & the chippy) also the public houses(used the Ship, The Cinque Port Arms & my favourite the Smugglers Ale House.

Lovely cottage, we really enjoyed staying here. Very convenient for visiting lots of places. A small garden but just nice for meals outside or sitting in the sun, and the summer house was a delight, we spent many happy hours in there during a lazy morning or after a day out. We appreciated all the little extras (shower gel, toilet rolls, towels, baRead moreth robes, extra TVs with Netflix etc) and welcome hamper, making it feel luxurious Hide
