This period cottage is full of rustic charm with exposed beams, an inglenook fireplace and stone flooring. Offering breathtaking views and easy access to the historic town of Winchelsea makes this a great holiday destination.

This pretty, characterful cottage is located a ten minute drive to the small historic town of Winchelsea, with its pretty and quiet pebbly beach. Within a ten minute drive is the medieval town of Rye, with its range of independent shops, plentiful places to eat and old-fashioned pubs. This is a wonderful place to while away a day, wandering the cobblestoned streets and perhaps visiting the tiny independent cinema. A further ten minutes’ drive past Rye and you will come to the seaside resort of Camber Sands, this offers a very different experience to Winchelsea, with its wide expanse of golden sands and choice of water sports on offer.

This traditional, beamed cottage, has steps leading up to the house, at the top of which, the front door opens onto the porch. Immediately to your right, you will find the sitting room with working inglenook fireplace, comfortable sofas and chairs and TV with DVD player and Wi-Fi. Continuing on to the kitchen, you will find everything you need including an Aga-style oven, as well as conventional oven and hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is also a kitchen table seating six, but the property also benefits from a separate dining room, which has an additional TV and DVD player, as well as the dining table. There is a separate utility room with a washer/dryer and a separate WC. Stairs to the first floor take you to the master bedroom suite with beautiful views across to Rye and Camber. There is a double bed and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has twin beds and the main bathroom is on this floor, with bath and separate shower. On the second floor are two single bedrooms in the attic eaves.

To the front of the property is a lawned garden with pathway leading to the front door. To the rear is an attractive courtyard with al fresco dining area and charcoal barbecue, which leads up to a lawned area There is parking outside the property.

The house was beautiful. Cleaner than clean, attention to detail was wonderful. Cake, card & drink were all very thoughtful and much appreciated. Everything required (and more!) was available. Wed even taken a hairdryer, tea / coffee / sugar but didnt need these items. Definitely stay again! Were very much thinking of checking availability for simiRead morelar dates next Christmas (2016). I would recommend the house to others. This is a lovely area (Whitesands) and we all love Camber Sands very much. You cant improve on perfect! Im very impressed with the services of Bramley and Teal and will be looking at other properties for trips this year. We really enjoyed our stay in Daydreamer in Camber. The House was clean and welcoming on arrival. The welcome package of milk and cake was much appreciated. The house us very well quipped. We had a lovely time in Camber (that's me, my wife and my then 7 month old daughter) in the Summer of 2014. We were one of the first people to day in the cottage - which is actually a very (brand) new town house in a nice housing development on the edge of Camber Sands - as are many of the other vacation rentals that look similar on this site.The pRead moreroperty has convenient parking and is quiet and feels safe. The property is on three floors - which worked well for us - with plenty of equipment for the baby. We spent most evenings in the kitchen diner which was spacious and had a nice feel to it. The property did get quite hot in the day - so having the curtains closed when the sun was shining in was helpful in ensuring a cooler evening.The beds were comfy - as you would expect with a new property.The property would be very good for a pair of couples - or a larger family - we didnt make use of most of the rooms (a play room) and the lounge. The garden was shingle and had things like a paddling pool and a nice decked terrace which we used.Would use Bramley and Teal again - they are very helpful and everything went very smoothly. Hide

We have returned from our holiday at Daydreamer in Camber Sands. Camber Sands is lovely, the beaches are amazing and our dog loved them. We loved staying at Daydreamer, the houses is beautifully furnished, the beds were amazing as was the en-suite shower. There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival. The house is well furnished and fully equipped for couples and families. There is parking round the side of the property. The development is really quiet and very well positioned within Camber.
