  • Located in the Little Chelsea area of Eastbourne, which was featured as the third "most happening neighbourhood in the UK" in the Sunday Times

Browse in the artisan shops of Eastbourne's Little Chelsea quarter or pause for a cup of freshly ground coffee and a slice of homemade cake in one of its many colourful cafes. Up to three guests can enjoy the vibrant surroundings from this attractive period cottage, which also gives you access to the magnificent South Downs National Park.

This period cottage is part of a row dating back to the 19th century and has been decorated and presented with great sympathy for its charm and style. Character features, including a Victorian fireplace and wooden floors, contribute to its appeal and are enhanced by its warm decor and comfortable furnishings. Step straight into the inviting lounge and dining room to settle down on the sofa with a cup of tea. Cook up a tasty meal in your kitchen and on sunny days, you could choose to carry your plates out into the courtyard garden, with its pretty flint wall. As night falls, head up to the first floor to find the single bedroom and bathroom, or go on up a second set of cottage-style stairs to the master bedroom.

Explore Little Chelsea to your heart's content or stroll into the busy centre of Eastbourne. The main beach is just half a mile from the cottage, but you can also make the most of quieter, more rugged coastal locations by packing a picnic and heading out into the South Downs National Park. Take in beautiful downland landscapes on the way to Beachy Head, just 2 miles away, or make more of a day of it by trekking the 5 miles to the National Trust's Birling Gap for panoramic views of the Seven Sisters cliffs.

Ideal quiet central location , 15 minutes stroll to the seafront. Cosy little cottage with plenty of amenities nearby. Although you cannot park outside, you can get close enough to the secluded entrance in South Street.

A clean and comfortable cottage in a very good location. A short walk to the seafront, tennis Centre, theatres, and town centre, surrounded by some really good and diverse bars and restaurants. I was dreading parking in South Street, however, parking proved to be really easy. In short - a great place to stay!

For the price the customer has to pay I would say more cleaning checks before the customer enters the property. Maybe new throws and definitely furniture covers. Wouldve been nice if we couldve used the back garden in the evening but unfortunately there was outdoor light. However, the property itself was great as well as the location.

A lovely and quaint cottage. Perfectly located for the town centre, sea front and for days out. Even on a day of torrential rain we were perfectly happy to relax and read. The dogs were happy and the back yard was perfect for their needs as we were out and about each day.
