Pretty terraced cottage located in the Little Chelsea area of Eastbourne, an area known for its quirky independent shops and eateries.

Up to three guests can enjoy the vibrant surroundings from this attractive period cottage, which also gives you access to the magnificent South Downs National Park.


This period cottage is part of a row dating back to the 19th century and has been decorated and presented with great sympathy for its charm and style. Character features, including a Victorian fireplace and wooden floors, contribute to its appeal and are enhanced by its warm decor and comfortable furnishings. Step straight into the inviting lounge and dining room to settle down on the sofa with a cup of tea. Cook up a tasty meal in your kitchen and on sunny days, you could choose to carry your plates out into the courtyard garden, with its pretty flint wall. As night falls, head up to the first floor to find the single bedroom and bathroom, or go on up a second set of cottage-style stairs to the master bedroom.


Explore Little Chelsea to your heart's content or stroll into the busy centre of Eastbourne. The main beach is just half a mile from the cottage, but you can also make the most of quieter, more rugged coastal locations by packing a picnic and heading out into the South Downs National Park. Take in beautiful downland landscapes on the way to Beachy Head, just 2 miles away, or make more of a day of it by trekking the 5 miles to the National Trust's Birling Gap for panoramic views of the Seven Sisters cliffs.

Overall a lovely little cottage for a short break. The location was great and most things in the cottage were in good condition. It was very clean throughout.

We only stayed 1 night out of 3 due to both of us getting up with bad backs & lack of sleep due to mattress. We didnt feel it was value for money and the price was not competitive having now seen the property.Both of us were disappointed.

Very cozy and nicely sized cottage in a perfect spot at the center of Eastbourne. Restaurants, pubs, shops and public transport are all within a short walking distance but the location of the house is still very quiet and peaceful (except for the city hall bell). The cottage was very suitable for our stay for the week and really good value for the Read moremoney. Perfect "base camp" to explore South-East England from. Hide

Great location close to shops and amenities and quite cosy interior. Bedrooms are compact but adequate and the beds quite comfortable, it is possible to get good nights sleep The stairs will be an issue for any but the fit and healthy they are steep and narrow

This was our first holiday with our dog and we were not disappointed. Eastbourne is an extremely dog friendly place and we were warmly welcomed in so many places. Lovely walks along the prom, Beachy Head was glorious, Birling Gap too. The weather that week was fantastic so we were lucky.

A lovely cottage in a quieter area of Eastbourne. I had a problem with the shower leaking everywhere. The bathroom could do with updating because of the inefficient shower.
