This ground floor apartment with garden has access directly onto the beach at Pevensey Bay. Ideally located for those wishing to bring a four legged-friend. Great for walkers and cyclists alike.

Situated next to a quiet, dog friendly, shingle beach which becomes sandy at low tide, it is ideal for sailing, swimming or a spot of fishing. A walk along the beach will take you to the local shops, pubs and restaurants, or just a short drive from the property, is the village of Pevensey with its striking castle, now an English Heritage site. Further along the coast, are the towns of Bexhill-on-Sea and Eastbourne with the Sovereign Harbour Marina, a great place for a spot of lunch whilst admiring the wide variety of boats moored up. The Towner, also in Eastbourne, is a stylish contemporary art gallery, which is not to be missed along with The Observatory Science Centre and the impressive Herstmonceux Castle situated in the same grounds, just a short drive away.

Step through into the welcoming entrance hall where there is space for dropping off coats and shoes; head through to the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you will find a bright and contemporary kitchen that is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. Enjoy your meals around the dining table with seating for four, then retire to the inviting lounge area with comfortable sofas and TV/DVD to watch your favourite movie or just spend some time enjoying the spectacular sea views. The apartment offers two bedrooms, a spacious king-size and a twin. Completing the accommodation is the shower room with WC.

A door from the lounge leads out to a decked area with table and chairs, where guests can enjoy a spot of al fresco dining. There is a lawn area with a gate opening directly onto the beach. To the front of the property is off-road parking for one car.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Wonderful location for a relaxing holiday. Perfect for long walks & great local restaurants / pubs close by. The property was clean, cosy & well equipped & we would love to return for a get away from it all long weekend.

Immaculately clean ,very comfortable, perfect location. To hear only the sound of the roaring sea so close by,a refreshing change from the usual traffic. Smart clean interior, and dog friendly too.

The flat was clean and tidy and nice touch of wine biscuits and treats for our dog. Could have done with more shelf space in bathroom and bedrooms for toiletries, make up etc . Did feel garden could do with some TLC. Nice patio set but No parasol. Luckily we had taken one of ours down for beach but ended up having to use it in the garden. The property is part of a lovely old house which has been nicely converted into both private and holiday flats. Relaxing week break. Access for your dog directly onto the beach. Had everything we needed. A picture of the external of the converted house would be good in adverts so you could see exactly what your hiring. Its a lovely building and location. I thought we paid a little too much but it was last minute decision
