Victorian cottage located just one mile from Eastbourne’s town centre, just a few minutes’ walk from the seafront, beach, and the town’s popular Princes Park. Ideal for family holidays.

Feel immediately revitalised by the beach theme running throughout this welcoming Victorian cottage for four. Only a mile from Eastbourne's town centre, close to the seafront, beach, and the award-winning Princes Park, it is an excellent escape to somewhere rather special.

With its original Victorian fireplace, the lounge is light and spacious. Be inspired by the decor including period details, a beautiful bay window and coastal-themed paintings. The bright and airy dining room has another original fireplace, creating a cosy area for family games and conversation. The sleek kitchen is well-equipped with all you need for hassle-free cooking. A soft coastal palette gives a nautical feel to this seaside haven with its high-quality furnishings. Outside, have a lovely breakfast or light lunch on the sun-trap patio. At the end of the day, enjoy a relaxing bubble bath before heading to bed in one of the two restful bedrooms upstairs.

This property is in a residential area of Eastbourne, within a mile of the seafront. Princes Park is less than half a mile away, a wonderful place to stroll in the formal gardens and have fun on the boating lake. Next to the park is a fabulous water sports centre offering instruction in many activities including windsurfing, powerboating, and stand-up paddleboarding. Other attractions within easy reach of the property include Sovereign Harbour Leisure Centre,  the Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway (2 miles), and the town's Victorian pier (2 miles), alongside all the attractions of a traditional seaside resort, including a theatre and Towner modern art gallery. You may have decided to ditch the car for your stay, but if you fancy a drive, the South Downs National Park from spectacular Beachy Head (3 miles) offers undulating coastline and dramatic white cliffs.

Lovely little house, well equipt for an enjoyable time away. Parking on the street which we found easy to find in September. Grocery shopping very close by also favourable eateries too. Beach at the end of the road. Oh bathroom was lovely with plenty of hot water.

Beach Cottage is a terraced property in a road which can be quite busy. The beach is a 10 minute walk although this is at the far eastern end of Eastbourne. You will need transport to get into the main centre. The property is well furnished and tastefully decorated with a paved area to the back which is a sun trap in the evening.

The house is perfect for a short break, it has a lovely kitchen and bathroom, nice living room and good sized bedrooms. It is also very convenient for the seafront and a 15 minute stroll gets you into the main promenade. We took our Labrador and Princes Park was a 5 minute walk away and is ideal for exercising the dog.

We loved the cottage and other than the improvements mentioned, it was very clean and comfortable and we would definitely consider rebooking

Parking not so easy, but great house.

It felt like a real home and we enjoyed the light and bright master bedroom. The decor was clean and simple and the bedrooms were spacious. We would stay here again

The cottage was comfortable, plenty of shops very close. A bit outside of Eastborne but cabs very cheap not so the buses! Very near to the sea with lovely walks in both directions.

A modernised terrace cottage that is very clean, works well and easily has plenty of space for four adults and a dog. A very quiet street that is five minutes walk from the sea and two minutes to local shops for amenities. A very enjoyable place to call a Base when exploring Eastbourne and the surrounding area.

Very well decorated but lacking finer details to make welcoming. Limited parking spaces available in height of summer
