This is a beautifully furnished property with the beach and all amenities on your doorstep. With everything you need so close, it’s the perfect romantic retreat or small family bolthole. Located just a leisurely walk from the beach, and with Broadstairs being home to a number of beautiful sandy bays, this property is perfect for keen swimmers and water sports enthusiasts. For walkers and cyclists, there are many routes along the coast to enjoy and, for those looking to venture further afield, the apartment is within easy reach of the nearby towns of Margate (4.5 miles) with the recently restored Dreamland theme park and Tuner Contemporary Gallery, Ramsgate (2 miles), where you can watch the sailing boats moor up in the marina, and the historic city of Canterbury (19 miles) known for its great shopping and Canterbury Cathedral.

This cosy ground-floor apartment is attached to the owner’s property. Step through the front door and into the welcoming hallway where there is space for dropping off coats and shoes before heading into the light and airy dual-aspect lounge/diner. Relax after a busy day on the comfy sofa (which can become a sofa bed for one child) and catch up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. Or, enjoy a relaxing meal and an evening of board games at the dining table. The light and bright kitchen is well equipped with everything you may need for whipping up a delicious meal, and the double bedroom is decorated in relaxing tones to promote a good night’s sleep. There is also another handy single sofa bed in here for an additional child. Finally, the property is completed by a shower room with WC.

The seating in the lounge was a bit dated and the bed could be larger.

We were met by the owner outside the property at 9.15 pm having arranged to text from the train station on arrival in Broadstairs. Thereafter we had no need to make contact as we had no issues whatsoever. The flat is ten minutes walk from the high st shops and the same to the seafront. Frequent buses to Ramsgate and Margate stop just around the corRead morener. Clean, comfortable, well-equipped and conveniently located, Bijou was the perfect base for our holiday. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was spotlessly clean and comfortable and was perfect for our stay. Off street parking was a definite bonus and we would stay here again and recommend it.

This apartment with off street parking is 5 minutes walk from the beach and town centre. It is very comfortable inc. the bed. The smart TV means you can log into your own subscriptions. I would definitely recommend staying there.
