This stunning apartment is located in the West St Leonards area of Hastings, and looks out over the bowling green and beyond to the sea. Could there be a more quintessentially English location? St Leonards and Hasting seem to almost merge into one and yet St Leonards has its own unique character, perhaps a little more refined, with its grand architecture and stylish boutiques, antique shops and fashionable places to eat. Down the road Hastings has a different feel, but is no less interesting, with its castle, fishing harbour and classic beachfront which can be reached via the lovely funicular railway which is cut into the cliff.
You enter this grand Victorian apartment via the hallway and take the stairs to your accommodation which is spread over the first and second floors of this large house. The generously proportioned living area encompasses the lounge, dining area and kitchen, making this a wonderful communal space. The lounge is beautifully styled with two comfortable sofas, feature fireplace and a TV with separate DVD player. In one of the large windows of this room sits the dining table with views to the sea. There is a contemporary kitchen with tiled floor, electric oven and hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The master bedroom suite is also found on this floor, with its king-size bed and en-suite shower room. This is a large and light room that feels very relaxing and tranquil. A further bedroom on this floor has a double bed and dressing table with mirror as well as plenty of space to hang clothes. The bathroom on this floor features a shower over the bath. Stairs take you to the second floor, passing an attractive original stained glass window on the way up. A second sitting room, this time with a more contemporary feel, is found on this floor and has a sofa, chairs and TV with DVD player. To the front of this room is a balcony with sea views, but please note, children are not allowed on the balcony. Two further bedrooms can be found here, one with double bed and the other with twin single beds located in the eaves. There is also a large shower room with walk-in shower. For an additional bedlinen charge the owners can supply a double blow up bed.
The balcony provides the property’s outdoor space, but you will definitely not feel cooped up with the bowling green directly opposite and the beach just beyond that. Enjoy spectacular sunsets over the sea. There is unrestricted roadside parking subject to availability.
Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
