The cottage is perfectly located, very close to the restaurants etc. It was also well equipped. For the price, it is good value. My only criticism would be that because the person on the ground floor apartment smokes, the smoke rises and makes the flat smell a bit. We have a small baby so were especially concerned and contacted the owner. He apologRead moreised profusely and was very kind and offered to smoke outside. Though this lessened the smell it was still there. Otherwise the flat was lovely. Hide

Had a great week at the apartment. Really lucky with the weather so on the beach every day. Visited Hastings which is great for the kids and Eastbourne Air Show. Winchelsea village is stunning and the pub has a beautiful hiddeRead moren beer garden. Camber Sands is lovely. Rye itself has a nice varied range of shops and restaurants - the kids liked Simply Italian. The park has come in handy for running off excess energy.
