There are also a number of specialist food shops, which are great for those who prefer to eat-in whilst on holiday, however, guests may find it hard to resist the town’s impressive choice of restaurants, gastropubs, and cafes including dog friendly pubs and restaurants. The pretty beach stretches around the bay from the town to the neighbouring village of Tankerton, where two rows of colourful beach huts line the gently-sloping shingle. Canterbury and other seaside towns are also only a short drive away.
