Exuding charm and style throughout, this family friendly property is perfect for traditional seaside getaways, with direct access to the beach at Pett Level.

Experience a taste of waterside living at this coastal bolthole which boasts access to the beach from the back garden. Fill your lungs with sea air and feel rejuvenated as you escape from everyday life. Sitting in a spectacular location with an abundance of walks and adventures for two and four-legged guests to enjoy, this home provides creature comforts and cosy corners for peaceful evenings in after days spent exploring.

Step inside, throw off your flip flops and relax in the delightful lounge; a welcoming space, the wood burner promises to keep you warm throughout your stay as you curl up and lose yourself in a good book or a film. A spiral staircase leads up to a twin bedroom which sits in the eaves of the house - sloping ceilings mean care must be taken in this room. Before resting your head in one of the light, pleasant bedrooms, rustle up some dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. If the sun shines, dine alfresco in the garden and gaze up at the stars as dusk arrives. Chillier nights call for eating inside and socialising with friends and family to plan some more holiday ventures. Unwind and soak aching muscles in the bath or have a quick rinse in the shower over bath which is perfect for rinsing off muddy tails, too.

Wake up and head across to the local shingle beach from your back garden, stroll and paddle to your heart's content and get a dose of coastal air. Travel slightly further afield and visit the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve or the Hastings Country Park Local Nature Reserve, 7 and 3 miles from home respectively.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Nice property close to lots of lovely walks along the coastal path or through the nature reserves. It is very secure and has a large garden which is ideal for your four legged guests! Lovely location for beach and canal walks. The cottage is well equipped and cosy. My only criticism would be the spiral staircase which we found quite scary and difficult to manoeuvre. The upstairs bedroom is lovely if you are a mountain goat or extremely fit and can get up there. The garden is big and we were fortunate enough to have good weather Read moreso could sit outside a lot. I think it would be a bit cramped if the weather had been bad and we had to stay inside. Hide

The cottage is lovely and is very nice in the summer having outside space to sit and eat out. Easy access to both Rye and Hastings. Access to the beach is good along the back path but you cant see the beach from the property. We loved the house! So close to the beach, so quiet, so nicely decorated and comfortable. There were comfortable loungers in the shed, everything we could have wanted. The Red Pig was a delight. We will be back, Thanks!

Lovely, well equipped cottage in a good location connected by a short path right onto the beach and close to both Rye and Hastings. The beach was quiet, even during the excellent weather that we had during our stay, so social distancing was no difficulty.
