Sitting in a spectacular location with an abundance of walks and adventures for two and four-legged guests to enjoy, this home provides creature comforts and cosy corners for peaceful evenings in after days spent exploring.

Step inside, throw off your flip flops and relax in the delightful lounge; a welcoming space, the wood burner promises to keep you warm throughout your stay as you curl up and lose yourself in a good book or a film. A spiral staircase leads up to a twin bedroom which sits in the eaves of the house - sloping ceilings mean care must be taken in this room. Before resting your head in one of the light, pleasant bedrooms, rustle up some dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. If the sun shines, dine alfresco in the garden and gaze up at the stars as dusk arrives. Chillier nights call for eating inside and socialising with friends and family to plan some more holiday ventures. Unwind and soak aching muscles in the bath or have a quick rinse in the shower over bath which is perfect for rinsing off muddy tails, too.

Wake up and head across to the local shingle beach from your back garden, stroll and paddle to your heart's content and get a dose of coastal air. Travel slightly further afield and visit the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve or the Hastings Country Park Local Nature Reserve, 7 and 3 miles from home respectively.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The position of the property is great, just a short passageway to a lovely quiet beach. Plenty of sand on the beach as the tide goes out.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage, very clean, well equipped kitchen. Really appreciated the thoughtful necessities, washing up liquid, kitchen roll etc Excellent base for visiting local attractions.

Lovely cottage for weekend plenty of cooking equipment - beach club good for a drink and bite to eat - is quite remote so car is definitely needed - lots to see and explore in Rye and Hastings and owner have some very good recommendations
