Lovingly decorated, this bright and spacious holiday apartment is a stylish, tastefully designed, tranquil base from which to explore the seafront in Bexhill-on-Sea and attractions all along the south coast.

This spacious apartment is located on the seafront at Bexhill-on-Sea. Bexhill is a splendid seaside town which was given a new lease of life in the mid-2000s, when the iconic De La Warr Pavilion was re-opened as an award-winning gallery and exhibition space. Since then the seaside town has attracted a trendy, arty crowd and has much to offer visitors, including a range of shops and a large choice of eateries, from fashionable cafe-bars to cosy coffee shops and, of course, fish and chip shops. Further afield, the seaside towns of Hastings and Eastbourne are within respective 15 minute and 30-minute drives away.

Steps lead up to the front door of this seafront property and the feeling of spaciousness and light immediately hits you. The lounge continues in this theme, with light flooding in from the windows which have views across to the sea. There are comfortable sofas and chairs in this room, as well as a TV and DVD player. Moving through double doors to the open-plan kitchen/dining room, you will find a dining table seating for up to eight people, and all the conveniences you would expect, including electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Taking the turned stairs to the first floor a bedroom with king-size bed has the added and somewhat unexpected bonus of a table football set. Another bedroom with twin beds, and a selection of children’s books. The main bathroom is on this floor and has a shower over the bath, plus a separate shower room. On the second floor you will discover the double-aspect master bedroom, with its superb sea views which can be enjoyed from your king-size bed. The bathroom on this floor has a shower over the bath.

To the rear of the property, accessed through the kitchen, is a small courtyard garden with table and chairs for two. There is plenty of unrestricted on-street parking, subject to availability

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Please note there is a refundable £400 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

The house is bright and comfortable, it's location (in regard to beach and town) is excellent - the photos don't quite do it justice. The blurb doesn't tell you how child friendly Fish Tales really is. They provide games, books and stair gates as well as useful picnic and beach items. We thought the pictures showing the beach views had been touched up but they're actually accurate, sunset is amazing in summer.

Lovely spacious property perfect for our extended family. The grandchildren loved having the beach on our doorstep as well as the playground around the corner. We appreciated the welcome pack of groceries and the fully equipped kitchen - great for family meals. One of the best holiday homes ever!

This was a perfect choice for a family of 5 across 3 generations - plenty of 'personal space' and the communal areas were generous. The views across to the beach and sea were breathtaking and being able to fall asleep to the sound of the waves was magical. Easy walk into the town and to the pavilion. Parking was ultra easy too!
