A charming cottage / barn, beautifully located in the North Downs, which was spacious and offered privacy and tranquility. Excellent for walks and scenery, but you do need to be comfortable at driving on narrow winding lanes. Sharron was very helpful, although very little was required, because it was already well provided for.

One of the best self catering properties we have stayed in, and we have been doing it for several years now. The tone was properly set by the welcoming bottle of milk in the fridge and collection of fresh free range eggs when we opened the front door on arrival. We have stayed in numerous dog friendly cottages of yours and have to say that Hillview, Dawlton Farm is by far the best cottage we have stayed in. Fabulous property with footpaths and fields on your doorstep. We loved that it was rural but yet within easy driving distance to the sea, Canterbury and other attractions. Sharon was a fantastic host and we loved the chickens and rabbits as our neighbours. Whilst Sharon and Mark are next door the property is very private with a lovely garden. Wonderful and cosy cottage in Kentish Downs. Quiet countryside surrounds the location, walks literally from the gate, closest vineyard (Brabourne) less than ten mins drive. Great, friendly hosts. We will visit again.

Couldn't fault Hillview. It was perfect escape. We loved it's isolated position and with a footpath from the edge of the property, it was perfect for our dog as well as us. Hillview had everything we needed and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

A beautiful cottage in a lovely position. The owner was very helpful and helped us settle in. The cottage was spotless and very well appointed, a bowl of eggs from the farm was a nice touch. Would recommend this cottage to anyone who wanted just to relax or go for the wonderful walks around the area.
