Lovingly converted stylish holiday cottage provides a special couple’s getaway in the glorious Kent countryside. Perfect for exploring the great pubs and restaurants on the doorstep.

This converted farm building has been beautifully transformed into a quirky and unique holiday cottage offering a tranquil getaway in idyllic rural surroundings for couples, with plenty to see and explore on the doorstep. Located just outside the picturesque village of Biddenden, with its row of weavers’ cottages and village green, several shops, a restaurant, as well as, a tearoom. Just outside the village is Biddenden Vineyard, a lovely place to wander around, before a visit to the shop for wine tasting and refreshments. Sissinghurst Castle, is a short drive from the property, and the Kent & East Sussex Railway at Tenterden is a perfect places to experience a trip on an old fashioned steam train as far as Bodiam Castle.

Enter the cottage through the front door which opens into the welcoming open-plan kitchen/diner. The kitchen includes an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and TV. In the dining area you will find a farmhouse table. From the kitchen, stairs lead to a cosy mezzanine with a king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as twin beds on request). There is also a lounge area with two easy chairs, a TV with DVD player and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Due to the nature of this lovely building eaves ceiling restricts access on one side of the bed. There is underfloor heating in the kitchen/diner and the bathroom.

Outside there is a secluded shared garden area with a bistro table and chairs, and stunning views across the lake. By arrangement, there is access to the owner’s laundry room with a washing machine and indoor and outdoor drying facilities. There is allocated parking for one car and bicycle storage.
