Found in the charming seaside town of Whitstable, from this cottage you can enjoy a coastal holiday with a difference. Enjoy its beautiful sandy beach and the many water sports it offers, from sailing to windsurfing and kite surfing, or for something a little gentler, try one of the many scenic coastal walks on offer. Whitstable is also well-known for its oysters, celebrated every July at the town’s annual festival, and there are a wealth of excellent restaurants, cafes and pubs to choose from throughout the town, as well as several independent shops. The cathedral city of Canterbury can also be found nearby, with historic sights to see including St Augustine’s Abbey and St Martin’s Church.
Decorated with a nautical theme throughout, this property is sure to remind you you’re beside the seaside. The lounge, with exposed floorboards, is a wonderful place to relax in the evenings, thanks to its gas flame-effect fire, TV and DVD. Over in the dining room, there is a table and chairs perfect for both hearty breakfasts and intimate evening meals, while the kitchen offers all the home comforts you could need in the form of an electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine and fridge/freezer. The property’s shower room can also be found on the ground floor, with its shower cubicle and WC. Upstairs are the cottage’s three bedrooms: a double, a twin and a single (please note: the single can only be reached via the twin bedroom).
Outside, guests are able to relax in the enclosed patio garden, complete with furniture, perfect for an outdoor meal or an evening drink. Roadside parking outside the property is sometimes available, and there is also a public car park close by.
