Wake up to delightful country views each and every day here in Kent, appreciating a relaxing rural location, the sound of birds chirping in the gardens and long country walks just moments from your doorstep. Happily sleeping four guests and with the optional extra of two more, this pretty property is perfectly suited to hosting a family retreat or a holiday for two couples.

Instantly welcoming, this delightful property has been decorated throughout with a neutral colour scheme and simple decor. The heart of the house is it’s open-plan living space which puts lounge, kitchen and dining room all in one sociable spot. The handy kitchen has been ideally set up to feed four or six guests, and dining can be enjoyed here or al fresco in the sunny patio area. There’s space for all to rest and recuperate in the lounge, with TV/DVD or a selection of board games available for your use. When it’s time to retire you’ll find both bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which boasts a door out to the garden and delightful country views to wake up to. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms which presents an extra spot of privacy and makes for speedy getting ready in the mornings.

Wander 1.5 miles into the village of Woodchurch, stopping off in welcoming local pubs or picking up local produce in the handful of independent shops. This area boasts the popular South of England Rare Breeds Centre (1.5 miles), a family favourite and a great place to see a variety of animals. Those looking to spot local wildlife may instead prefer walks in the Kent Downs (12 miles) or High Weald AONB (3.5 miles), whilst a trip to Camber Sands or Dungeness is a must for those looking to see the sea.

A very nice cottage, clean and comfortable. Ideal for peace and quiet and going for country walks. No wi-fi, so ideal for getting away from it all.

This is a lovely holiday home in a beautiful and very quiet location. It is an excellent base for heading out in different directions to the local attractions. For the more eco-conscious customer this property is self-sufficient power and water wise
