Located within the village of Cooden, and with easy access to the beach at the end of the road, this stylish and well-designed holiday cottage is a fantastic seaside getaway for larger families.

This property is located in the quiet residential village of Cooden, a pretty Sussex town on the coast that offers plenty of relaxation and family entertainment, with a good array of independent shops restaurants, cafes and pubs. Cooden Beach is located across the road from the property and is ideal for keen swimmers and water sports enthusiasts. It is also close to the countryside offering a great place to enjoy countryside walks, cycling and horse riding, and just 2 miles from the De La Warr Pavilion which hosts exhibitions and events throughout the year. Nearby Eastbourne (12 miles) is home to the Towner Art Gallery and numerous theatres which offer an array of West End Shows throughout the year. Families will enjoy exploring the many castles, gardens and family attractions on offer in the wider area.

Step into the light and bright porch with space for dropping off muddy shoes and coats, and head through into the hallway and the spacious kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with everything you’ll need for creating delicious family meals including an electric range-style double oven and five-ring hob, microwave, coffee machine, instant hot water tap, and a breakfast bar with stools for enjoying a quick bite to eat or a morning coffee. The large utility room is just off the kitchen with an American-style fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Head from the kitchen into the warm and cosy lounge that has views across the garden and two large comfy sofas for getting the family all together around the Smart TV. Light the ethanol gel fire on chilly evenings and curl up with a good book or enjoy a film together. The dining room is accessed from either the lounge or the hallway and offers a nod to the traditional origins of the property with a large oak dining table with seating for all and a wood burner for chilly evenings. This is the perfect place to gather the family together for celebratory meals. The ground floor is completed with a cloakroom with WC. Stairs lead up to the first floor where you will find four bedrooms, three with Smart TVs, two king-size bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room with WC, a twin bedroom, and a bunk bedroom(only suitable for children). The family bathroom offers the ultimate in luxury with a bath with a handheld shower, a TV for watching whilst you enjoy a long hot soak, and a WC.

Patio doors from the lounge lead out to a generously sized garden with a lawn and decked area with patio seating and a gas BBQ for al fresco dining. There is private parking for two cars.

A wonderful house to stay in and a perfect location, close to Bexhill and especially to the beach, but not in the midst of it all. Very comfortable and a really good nights sleep. The owner could not have been more accommodating and communication was excellent. Thoroughly recommended and would love to be able to return

An amazing property for a relaxing holiday. The beach is a few hundred yards away and its a short distance to Eastbourne, Hastings and Rye. A lovely place to enjoy a relaxing holiday.
