Bike hire is available within walking distance.

The staircase from the lounge leads up to the first floor and the remaining bedrooms: one with full-sized bunk beds, and the master bedroom with a double bed and a sea view. There is also a shower room with shower and WC.

Heading outside from either the lounge or kitchen you will have access to a fully enclosed courtyard garden with garden furniture to relax after a busy day exploring. The cottage was lovely and cosy and the welcome pack, very generous. The beds were super comfy. It was situated in a perfect location for all our travel wishes. We had a problem with the fridge on the first night and this was dealt with efficiently. The children are already begging us to go back!

Really nice cottage which was more spacious than what we thought it would be from looking at the photos. The open plan kitchen area was a plus point with the adjoining dining table as well. Great location within 1 mins walk of the Sandgate sea front. Very happy!

A lovely cottage, very clean and welcoming. We enjoyed the courtyard in the centre of the building. Two bathrooms were very handy. Everything was modern and well kept. Will go back. Great location and handy driveway.

Nice place, cosy, looks a lot bigger in photos. Comfy, recommend anyone staying to filter the water, otherwise there is a definite odd taste to the water. Well situated for beach and visiting places.

We enjoyed our stay here. Cleanliness & comfort were excellent. Just two things to be aware of: 1. Steps when going from one room to another downstairs! 2. Upstairs bathroom is very small! Otherwise, all went well. Would recommend. The Regan Family

We really enjoyed our stay at Kings Cottage. It was lovely when we arrived and have wine and some essentials left for us. Great location we loved Sandgate. The cottage was clean and well equipped apart from a couple of minor problems. Lovely cottage very close to the sea front. People were very friendly and we had a tasty bacon roll and a coffee on the high street and our dog was made most welcome. Lovely walk along the seafront into Folkestone. We caught the bus into Hythe one day and into Canterbury the next. The bus stop is just across the road. Lovely cottage in an excellent location for Sandgate, Folkestone and Hythe. Quirky layout and plenty of room for a family. Added bonus of parking. Good Wi-Fi and well equipped with everything necessary. Will return soon.

We loved the cottage as soon as we walked through the front door. Really spacious and light but still had a lot of character. The bottle of bubbly was such a lovely surprise for our arrival which we enjoyed after our long journey, sitting in the gorgeous little courtyard in the sunshine!

Five of us had a brilliant stay at Kings Cottage. Lots of goodies left for us on arrival including Cava! The only minor problem was that the cottage shared a water supply with next door and we lost water one morning as they had the plumber. Very nice neighbours brought a bottle of wine to apologise.
