This charming property is ideally suited for couples or families to enjoy a great seaside holiday. It offers comfortable accommodation with easy access to the beach and countryside.

Located on the outskirts of Hastings, this property is ideally situated for exploring the beautiful Hastings Country Park or nearby beach at Pett Level. Keen walkers can enjoy a multitude of different footpaths meandering the countryside and along the coastline stopping at traditional village pubs for a spot of refreshment. Families will enjoy a trip to nearby Hastings Old Town where there is a wealth of shops, cafes and restaurants, coupled with seaside attractions to keep all ages entertained. The property is a short drive from the pretty medieval town of Rye, famous for its cobbled streets and smuggling stories or for those looking to venture slightly further afield there are many Castles and Gardens to visit in the surrounding areas.

Enter the property, into the welcoming hallway and head through into the light and airy lounge/diner. Enjoy relaxing in front of the gas fired coal effect fire on one of the two comfortable sofas, watching your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. The dining area has comfortable seats for everyone for those delicious family meals that have been whipped up in the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric double oven and induction hob, which also has a single gas burner ring, microwave, coffee machine, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Heading back into the hallway you will find three bedrooms: a double with an en-suite shower room with WC, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The property is completed with a shower room with shower and WC, and a further separate cloakroom with WC.

Heading outside there is large patio area with table and chairs, and charcoal BBQ for family get togethers. There is private parking for three cars

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lantern Lodge. Our group included an older person and a toddler. The property has a spacious feel and suited everyone equally. It has loads of storage space in the bedrooms and kitchen. The kitchen is very modern and extremely well equipped. There are a lot of dvds to watch but none particularly aimed at toddlers. The cottage is amazing 5stars. plenty of room for 5 adults. Location great and we made the most of it being right in the edge of the country park loads of lo ely walks. The garden was great and our dog loved it On arrival we were meet by the lovely Angie who had left us some milk and biscuits that were yummy. Thank you. We had a great time

We had a great week's holiday here....the bungalow is really well equipped and comfortable and our family of five plus dog could spread out easily. Our welcome from Angie was genuine and she does an amazing job keeping it very clean and stocked. The locality to great walks was a boon and we made great use of the local beaches and countryside. Property in its current state is not dog friendly Secure fences are needed and hard flooring installed in common areas very busy lane outside dangerous to dogs Wonderful property if these changes are made we would return again no problem Property host very good and very helpful made us extremely welcome Real home away from home very luxurious

Amazing place Best kitted out we have ever seen Even provided tea and coffee and 4 pints milk Fresh flowers in the kitchen Great location for the country park Rabbits running around the garden We even saw Woody the Woodpecker! Couldn't take advantage cos Dad is too infirm but would have loved to enjoy the walk down to Pett beach directly from the pRead moreroperty The property manager is lovely. We had, an all too brief holiday, interrupted and cut short through having a family illness to accommodate. But we felt it was home from home, a lovely place to spend some quality time.

Lovely property one minutes walk from the country park. Comfortable and very well equipped. Two excellent large powerful showers and an American style fridge with ice machine. Large garden and plenty of parking. Access gate is a little tight.

Great comfortable property. In a quiet location with easy access to Hastings Country Park. Well equipped throughout. Large, light rooms with plenty of space to move around. Great outdoor space and plenty of parking.
