This charming cottage is located in a secluded rural location, with far-reaching countryside views.  The perfect hideaway for getting together with family and friends, with landscaped gardens, easy access to walking and cycling trails, and use of the owner's tennis court.

This stylish cottage is located on a working farm in the village of Stonegate, East Sussex, and is the perfect countryside idyll. The rural location means that you really do feel as though you have escaped modern life, however, for those who prefer to get out and see a bit of what the area has to offer, the elegant town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is within a 20 minute drive of the property and has many shops, restaurants and cafe-bars, including those in the town’s Georgian colonnade, The Pantiles.

The entrance of this beautiful property leads on to the lounge, a light and airy room, with a large L-shaped sofa, TV and DVD. There is also a cosy woodburner here which keeps the room lovely and warm in the colder months. Off from the lounge is the kitchen/diner, with its large dining table and additional TV, making this a great second entertaining space. The kitchen itself has everything you will need, including electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and Nespresso coffee machine.  Bi-fold doors in this room open onto the garden. Two of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor, including the master bedroom, which has a king-size bed, its own TV and en-suite shower room. French doors open onto a patio area and down to the garden beyond. The second bedroom is situated close to the front door of the property and benefits from a king-size bed. The property’s main bathroom is also downstairs and has a bath with separate shower. Stairs lead to the spacious first floor bedroom which has twin beds and its own TV and DVD, making it the perfect escape for young guests.

The property has a well-sized attractive garden with pretty patio area and steps down to the lawn. To the rear of the garden is a summer house with an additional decked area, perfect for enjoying a BBQ. There is a tennis court in the grounds which can be used with prior arrangement from the owner.

Set in a lovely peaceful location far enough but close enough to many places. Very well stocked cottage for all to enjoy. Highly recommend. Great for families and couples

The houses (we rented both ) are finished to a high standard and equipped with everything you could possibly need plus more. Our daughter woke up every morning early to go and see the lambs and two pot belly pigs nearby and then went for a walk in the fields to see the cows. We enjoyed the tennis court and lovely views over the valley. It was well-equipped, however the lounge was rather small for the number of people the house slept. We missed the fact that it wasn't easy to walk from the property. It was on quite a narrow busy road.

We were made to feel very welcome by the owners. The place was well-equipped and we had enough space for all 8 of us. We enjoyed the use of the bbq and tennis courts. The views from the garden are stunning. All in all a very peaceful place to stay and would consider returning again at another time of the year to explore the area more.

Everything about the house was terrific, and we all enjoyed ourselves there greatly. The hosts kept a low profile but were very willing to help when we needed it. Our two kids (8 and 4 yrs) also found it well equipped to keep them entertained.

Beautiful property in stunning location. V thoughtful owners left us homemade apple juice and cake too. Very clean and warm. Living arrangements really suitable for friends or family going away together, including young children. Loved the bird feeder too, we all plan to get one now! Very good quality refurbishment has meant lovely kitchen and bathRead morerooms. The key safe and spare key is a good idea too, so we could all go our separate ways for the day and still get back in. Amazing property with a great garden. The property was so clean and homely. We were welcomed with a homemade cake and fresh apple juice- A lovely touch, for our first night. We were a party of 7 adults and 3 children (2 babies) . There was plenty of room for us all. The garden had amazing views of farms and sheep grazing - great for small treks.
