First-floor apartment sleeping up to four guests, situated in the artisan quarter of Eastbourne, Little Chelsea, just a short walk from the seafront and the town pier.

This apartment is situated in Eastbourne town centre, in the Little Chelsea area which has built a reputation as the artisan area of the town, with over fifty independent shops, and a fantastic range of bars and restaurants. The beach is just a ten-minute walk away, as is the interesting lifeboat museum, and the nineteenth century Wish Tower with its cafe and sun lounge. Further afield, but still within easy reach of the town, there is plenty to see and do in the area including Drusilla’s Park, Beachy Head, and Herstmonceux Castle.

This property is a spacious and stylish apartment which makes a great base from which to explore Eastbourne and surrounding area. On arrival the first room that guests come to is the lounge: a pleasant room with a bay window, two sofas, a dining table, Smart TV, DVD, a USB charging point, and music system with USB input and a record player. An unusual addition to this room are the two single wall-beds which provide extra sleeping space for two guests. This area has a privacy curtain which can be pulled around it. The kitchen is a bright space which is equipped with everything that guests will need for their stay including a double electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, and washing machine. There is also a second dining table in the kitchen which is ideal for breakfast. The bedroom is a relaxing king-size room from which a patio door leads out to the decked seating area. The contemporary bathroom, meanwhile, offers a shower over bath, whilst the separate WC is just next door.

Outside, there is a decked seating area with a table and chairs on the same level as the property. Steep stairs lead down to the garden, which has a second seating area and a small lawn. There is also a bike shed which guests can use should they wish, and roadside parking subject to availability, for which one permit is supplied.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

This is a good sized apartment in one of the more interesting and attractive parts of Eastbourne. Lots of restaurants within easy walking distance and a 7-11 Tesco Express within 150 yards! The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable. Access is by a fairly long and quite steep staircase to first floor level. Similarly the garden is reached Read moreby a shorter metal staircase at the rear. Wi-fi, TV etc all worked very well. Hide

Clean apartment. Great location with lots of eaterys nearby. Parking can be tricky we had to park in next road a few times.

The bathroom wasn't the cleanest and very annoying putting the parking permit on every day, but other than these little things a great holiday. quiet spacious flat, lots of building work going on in Eastbourne lots of roadworks

Lovely first floor apartment which was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for our holiday. It would easily accommodate 4 guests with the clever drop down beds in the sitting room - this room can be closed off seperately for those guests to maintain their privacy. Parking permits were provided and these were very welcome, this meant that Read morewe could make full use of the fantastic public transport in the area (we barely needed our car during our week!). My son, his wife, and young son were very happy with Little Chelsea. A good size flat, clean and had all they required. Bit of a steep staircase up to flat, which could be difficult for persons less mobile. Otherwise fine, thanks.

Spacious flat in one of the best areas for dining out in town. The flat was recently painted and refurbished, it looks better than in the photos. We stayed there for 7 weeks and, since the first day, we felt like we were at home. Ideal for 4 people but it could be a little bit noisy on weekends (if you sleep in the dining room).

I found the flat very functional with a good size TV and Wifi worked well. Nice outdoor spaces, you do hear music from the Vinyl Frontier below but it did not disturb me at all also Grove Road has a lot of nice eating places and a fantastic second hand bookshop.
