Beautifully decorated throughout to create a stylish and tranquil hideaway for two with a private hot tub surrounded by beautiful Kent and East Sussex countryside.

The cottage is situated in the small village of Brookland in the heart of rural Kent. Quiet and idyllic the village is a real hidden gem, with its cosy pub and unusual church with wooden spire which is separate from the church itself. Surrounded by countryside, if you are hoping to get away from it all then this is the ideal place for you. However, for those who like to keep busy, the area has much on offer. The historic town of Rye is within a 15 minute drive and offers some splendid independent shops as well as a bijou cinema and a wide variety of places to eat.

This property offers single-storey accommodation, adjacent to the owners’ home. The main lounge area is bright and tastefully decorated and has lovely period features, including beams and vaulted ceiling. There is a comfortable sofa, a small woodburner, for which an initial supply of logs is provided, and an impressive Welsh dresser, there is also a TV and DVD player for curling up in front of. The dining table is also located in this room. The kitchen is light and spacious with a large American-style fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, dishwasher and washing machine. A door from the kitchen leads to the outside space. The master bedroom is located off the lounge and has a double bed, dressing table and free-standing wardrobe. This space has an understated, elegant feel and the owners clearly have an eye for detail. The en-suite bathroom has a shower over bath and is contemporary and bright.

Outside the property there is a patio area with bistro-style table and chairs. A hot tub is here too, which is available to guests between the hours of 9am-9pm. Beyond this area, through the garden, there is a gate which leads to the heated pool, with chairs and loungers beside it. The pool is available from May to 15th September  between the hours of 9am-5pm. There is parking for one car.

We did have a lovely time at the cottage; beautifully decorated and very well equipped with nearly everything of a high standard. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the welcome basket was a real treat.

Beautiful cottage, great location and fabulous welcome basket Simon and his family made us feel very welcome and the hot tub and pool were superb. The cottage is homely without being small and with great facilities. Would absolutely return

Perfect holiday cottage. Owners left you to your own devices, the use of pool and hot tub was perfect. Would certainly return if we visit this area again. Thankyou.

My partner and I stayed at little Hamilton for a week with our dog and we had such an amazing time. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and we were made to feel very welcome by the hosts who left a lovely hamper for us on arrival. The cottage is attached to the owners home as it is a converted stable block, but the owners are such lovely people andRead more really respected our privacy too. We stayed at Little Hamilton for five nights and it was perfect for my husband and I. The cottage has everything that you need with the added bonus of a hot top and swimming pool. Just wished we could have stayed longer but we had to return home to attend a wedding. Will definitely be back next time that we visit Kent! return home to Australia in aRead more week or so and i think we may be getting too old to globe trot much more ! Hide
