This beautiful barn conversion is set in the grounds of the owners’ home on the outskirts of the Kentish village of Rolvenden. An idyllic location, it has much to attract those who are looking for a quiet getaway. The lane outside the property leads to the vast Morghrew Estate, within which there are many walks to be enjoyed. Returning to the village, warm up in the local pub, the 15th century Bull Inn. The village also benefits from being home to one of five stations on the Kent and East Sussex Railway line, a steam railway which runs from the small town of Tenterden to the imposing 14th century castle at Bodiam.
This delightful property for two has been stylishly converted and you will be impressed by the sense of space and rustic charm. Steps lead from the outside to the first floor of the property. The main barn area is a light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with wooden beams and vaulted ceiling. The lounge has a comfortable sofa, so that you can curl up and watch a film on the TV and DVD player or relax with one of the magazines or books provided. Please note that there is a low beam in the lounge. The kitchen area is filled with light, thanks to the two overhead windows, there is an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Next to the kitchen area is the dining table which enjoys a prime spot in the large window. The master bedroom is located off the lounge and has a king-size bed, dressing table and built-in cupboard. Please note there is a low threshold into the bedroom. The en-suite shower room has a large walk-in power shower.
Outside, the property has its own private garden with outdoor furniture, including a sofa. The rest of the garden and paddock can be enjoyed with permission from the owner. There is parking for one car.
