This pretty 19th century cottage is located in the village of Rye Harbour, a quaint fishing village on the Sussex coast. The village benefits from a popular gastro pub, an RSPB nature reserve and shingle beach. Within a five minute drive or 15 minute cycle of the property is the beautiful historic town of Rye, with its cobbled streets filled with boutique shops, chic cafe-bars and galleries. There is even a tiny cinema here, making it perfect for a night out.

Enter this stunning property straight into the lounge with its comfortable sofas and woodburner. This room is beautifully styled in the property’s signature muted colours, which lend it a relaxing, understated feel. The kitchen/diner has a dining table which comfortably seats six and features bi-fold doors which open onto the contemporary decked area. The kitchen itself has everything you will need including electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. There is a downstairs shower room with large walk-in shower. Stairs lead to the first floor where you will find the property’s two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed as well as an additional trundle bed, suitable for a child, whilst the second bedroom has a small double bed.

The property’s garden is a decked area, with outside furniture and BBQ. Walking across the decked garden you will come to the property’s hidden gem, an outdoor games room with table football and darts board. Guests young and old will find it hard to resist having a game. To the front of the cottage is a small enclosed garden with bistro-style table and chairs. There is off-road parking for one car.

A lovely cottage in an interesting location well positioned for exploring coast and countryside. Local pub (William the Conqueror) just a few steps away and decent food. Great breakfast at the Bosun's Bite caf on the quay and also around the corner the Avocet Tea room. All good.

We had a wonderful stay at Little tern as a family with our two children (aged 3yrs and 8 weeks). Super cottage in a great location. Really comfortable and the wood burner made it cosy after walks in the fresh air. Really nice that it included everything for young children no need to pack travel cots/highchairs/books/toys its all there. Decorated and furnished to a very high standard. A week was too short but we will be back.

This was our second visit to the cottage. The facilities provided were excellent for our family (we have a toddler). The location is lovely. Local pub is very child friendly and the food is good. I would visit again. Thanks for a great stay

A lovely little cottage on the outskirts of Rye town. The new harbour, local shop, 2 x pubs and coastal walks are on the doorstep. You will need the bus or a car to visit Rye town. The seagulls were very noisey throughout the day. The shower could be better and lacks power. Take care of the slope on the car parking space if you want to avoid groundRead moreing. Hide

Pretty cottage in quiet location, a short walk from Rye Harbour. Very conveniently there is a shop around the corner and two nearby pubs which serve food.

Thank you for a lovely visit. The cottage is really comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for our 1 year old. Thank you also for the wine and rice cakes which are jamies favourite. Lots of great walks around the reserve in brilliant (if chilly!) sunshine. We have had a lovely time and we hope to return one day.

This is a beautiful cottage. Very cosy. While the wind was howling outside we were warm and snug with the log burner burning bright. Everything we needed was here and more. We are sorry to leave but work beckons.
