This converted farm building has been beautifully transformed into a light and airy cottage offering a tranquil getaway in idyllic rural surroundings for both couples and families.

This lovingly decorated cottage is nestled in peaceful surroundings close to the pretty village of Biddenden famed for it’s annual Tractor Fest as well as being home to a fantastic selection of restaurants, shops, tea rooms and an award winning vineyard. Heading a little further from the cottage will lead you to the market town of Tenterden with its wide selection of independent shops along a beautiful tree lined High Street, the towns of Rye and Hastings, a whole host of stunning National Trust houses, gardens and numerous other wonderful locations. For those who like the great outdoors, Biddenden offers some great local walks which can be finished with a stop at the local pub for a spot of refreshment.

Enter the cottage through the front door which, which is undercover, with a space for leaving outdoor footwear. The door opens into the light and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with vaulted ceiling and oak beam features. The lounge area has two comfy sofas and a TV with DVD player. There is table suitable for four people to dine at and a beautiful dresser which holds a selection of board games and books. The kitchen area has all the equipment you would expect, including an electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and a breakfast bar - perfect for a morning cup of coffee. There are two bedrooms leading off either end of the open plan main room. Both bedrooms have zip-and-link super king-size beds that can be made into twin beds on request. The master first bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. The second bedroom has an en-suite shower room with walk in shower and WC. The cottage has underfloor heating throughout.

French windows in the lounge, lead out to a secluded courtyard area with a patio table and 4 chairs and a BBQ can be arranged upon request. By arrangement, there is access to the owner's laundry room with a washing machine and indoor and outdoor drying facilities. There is private garage parking for one car (additional car parking by arrangement with the owner) and bicycle storage.

Please note there is a refundable £250 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

A beautiful luxury cottage, very well equipped, lovely decor and fitted out with very high spec appliances. Very comfortable beds and excellent bathrooms. The owner lives next door and is very welcoming and helpful. Good location close to lots of places to visit.

Master Quarter was a very well appointed and comfortable holiday home for our stay, with many thoughtful and pleasing touches in the decor. The layout worked well for us as 2 couples, with bedrooms at either end of the open-plan living/dining/kitchen area and the location was good for trips out into Kent and Sussex, and not too far from Tenterden fRead moreor eating out. The cottage is in a quiet location between Biddenden and Tenterden. It is conveniently located near many tourist and visitor attractions such as gardens, heritage railways, national trust and English heritage sites. The owner lives on site and provided good service.

A lovely property, well thought out and very well equipped. This cottage was not only furnished for looks but also for quality and comfort. The owner was friendly and helpful. Lovely home made bread, bramble jam and apple juice for us on arrival. The location was quiet and handy for visiting other places. Very good.

We enjoyed this property on levels for the peace and quiet of the location, a very charming owner who was very helpful with any points we raised. we also were well placed to visit all the many points of interest in the area.

We had an amazing week in this brand new cottage. Everything was immaculate and the owner was very helpful. We are a family with 2 young children and this cottage was perfect for us. We were within 30 mins drive of stunning beaches, vineyards, castles, gardens and shopping.
