Found close to the village of Mersham, as well as the larger town of Ashford, this property is in a secluded location perfect for exploring the Kent countryside. Situated next door to the owner's property this cottage is also within a half-hour’s drive of the historic cathedral city of Canterbury, should you fancy soaking up a bit of culture. Thanks to its central location in the heart of Kent, you will be well-placed to explore many of the county’s attractions, from castles such as Leeds, Dover and Rochester to stunning National Trust properties such as Knole House and Chartwell, Winston Churchill’s former home.

Ideal for relaxing in after a long day of exploring the area is the property’s lounge, where you can sit back on the ample seating provided, put your feet up in front of the wood burner (logs included) and watch your favourite shows on the Sky TV and DVD. Another great relaxation space and sure to be the heart of the home is the spacious and open plan kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is well-equipped with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and hob and a microwave, while those who aren’t cooking can enjoy the SkyTV/DVD and even play a few games on the Xbox console. This space can be opened up even further thanks to the doors leading out to the patio. Additionally, a washing machine, tumble dryer and drinks fridge can be found in the utility area. If you don’t feel like cooking at all, catering can be arranged with the owner, including afternoon tea and meals cooked by a private chef. For a movie night with a difference, use of a cinema room, with a projector, SkyTV and DVD can also be arranged with the owner prior to your stay. The owner can also arrange for guests to enjoy a number of beauty treatments and pampering sessions. Upstairs, the property boasts five bedrooms, as well as a luxurious bathroom complete with a spa bath, separate shower and WC. The master bedroom includes a super-king bed, additional bunk beds and its own en-suite shower room with WC. The four other bedrooms comprise of three doubles (one with extra bunk beds) and a twin bedroom.

Outside, guests can relax in the sunshine or play some garden games in the large and enclosed garden, complete with a patio area, garden furniture and a BBQ. Plenty of other outdoor leisure facilities can also be arranged with the owner, including a marquee, decorated with a table and chairs, fairy lights and candles. A 10ft paddling pool perfect for children is available throughout July and August. For additional luxury, guests can also have exclusive use of the owner’s hot tub, complete with changing rooms, shower, WC and sauna, for an additional £165 per week (£125 per short break). Ample off-road parking is also available.
