This chic holiday home offers spacious open-plan accommodation that invites the outside in during the summer and provides cosy evenings in by the woodburner in winter. It's a great place to spend time away with family or friends.
This family holiday home is situated just minutes’ walk from popular Camber Sands beach. Here you can walk for hours along this beautiful five-mile stretch of soft golden sand, explore the dunes behind, take a dip or let the children play on the huge beach. Hop in the car, or on the bike, to visit the nearby beautiful Cinque Port town of Rye where cobbled streets are lined with excellent restaurants, tearooms, boutique and antique shops.
Inside, the downstairs accommodation is open-plan to make the most of the fabulous panoramic glass doors that line the rear and open out to the deck and garden beyond. In the centre is a contemporary well equipped kitchen with an electric induction range cooker, microwave and a central island with bar stools for sociable occasions. The dining table beyond sits in sunlight next to the large bi-folding doors, while a sofa on the far wall is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee with the papers on a sunny morning. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine and sink. At the other end of the spacious downstairs living space is a cosy lounge area where comfortable sofas surround a wood burner, ideal for chilly evenings in front of a film. Immediately off, you’ll find a popular playroom, stocked with games, books and DVDs for children to enjoy while parents relax in the lounge. The master bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite shower room with large walk in shower and WC, also has direct access to a well equipped nursery with cot and changing table. The nursery can also be accessed from the sitting room. Two further bedrooms are located on the ground floor, one with a king-size bed offering lovely views over the lawned garden and the other, a spacious twin. Upstairs is a large double bedroom and spectacular Juliet balcony overlooking the garden. In addition to the family bathroom with bath, shower and WC, there is also an additional shower room with WC, off the utility room. Bi-folding doors connect the house interior with an impressive decked patio, which gives way to a spacious, private lawned garden bordered by trees. With garden furniture, this is a peaceful and sunny spot for lazy breakfasts or afternoon barbeques.
Nearby you can find kitesurfing, windsurfing, stand-up paddle boarding and sailing boat hire and tuition. In Camber, too, bike hire is available (enjoy the nine-mile Rye-Lydd cycle path). Don’t miss a day out – especially for the children – on the narrow gauge steam railway from Romney and Hythe to Dungeness. There is lots to do elsewhere for all ages, including golf, historic castles, nature reserves, super pubs, cycle trails, and buying fish and seafood at Rye quay.
