We really enjoyed our short break in Sissinghurst. The cottage was just what we needed - warm, welcoming and comfortable. The mulled wine and mince pies were much appreciated, thank you.

A lovely, well equipped, modern furnished and comfortable cottage. Deceptively spacious for a family of four. Boot room was useful to store and dry walking gear. Fire was lovely, cottage didn't take long to heat through. Only negative was the road, a busy through road on which to park on. Also noise of traffic at night, which we are not used to. The cottage had everything you needed. The wine and chocolate was a nice touch, thank you. On road parking was available, but it is a very busy road and on a couple of nights when something was on at the hall it was a bit of a challenge until later. Over all a great location for exploring all areas of Kent.

We had a brilliant holiday in Nelson Cottage. The house is very well equipped with travel cot, high chair, all the things youd need in the kitchen etc. Very clean and modern feel inside. All of the places we visited were within an hour in the car so the location is good for exploring this part of Kent. Village shop is excellent too.

A beautiful cottage which has been carefully renovated to a high specification and is extremely well equipped. We enjoyed sitting out in the little courtyard at the back. A great location for exploring rural Kent and nearby Sissinghurst Gardens and other National Trust properties.

A very convenient cottage for visits to the High Weald. We used the 'back' bedroom as the front main b/r faced the road. The A262 is busy for the short rush hours but parking wasn't a problem and neither was noise. A good village store is a short walk from the cottage with plenty of fresh local produce. The cottage was beautifully decorated in a clean contemporary style, simple and mercifully free of clutter, everything that was needed and nothing that was not needed. The kitchen was very well equipped. The stylish bathroom had both a bath and a walk in shower. The cosy living room had a log burner that was much appreciated.

Well-stocked kitchen, lovely courtyard space, all other rooms very clean and comfortable. Low doorways so i as a six footer had to duck, but at least I coukdvstand up straight in the rooms. It's on quite a busy road with parking on the opposite side, but don't let that put you off. Nice pub and shop in the village.
