This light and airy property has been stylishly decorated and furnished in a relaxed way with contemporary touches, offering spacious accommodation in the pretty town of Rye and close to Camber Sands.

Just moments from the shops and restaurants of Rye, a stay at this beautiful holiday home will put you right at the heart of a Sussex gem. Overlooking the Strand Quay, there is plenty to keep you busy in the town itself, with lots of amenities and fantastic food to sample around every corner. The nearby towns of Tenterden and Hastings offer yet more variety, whilst the stunning Camber Sands is also only a short distance away with an abundance of space to enjoy a day at the beach. For a great day out, Bodiam Castle is easily accessible from the cottage, and you'll also find Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and Great Dixter House and Gardens are not too far.

Upon entering the property, you will find yourself in a small hallway that is ideal for kicking off your shoes and hanging up your coast after a day of exploring. The ground floor has a lovely double bedroom, which also benefits from an en-suite shower room and separate WC. On this floor, there is also a utility room comprising of a washing machine, fridge with ice compartment, and more space for any muddy boots or sandy shoes, plus there is access to the rear garden. Stairs lead you up to the first floor, where there is a beautifully light and spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner; tastefully designed and decorated, the lounge features ample comfortable seating, a TV/DVD, and a wood burner effect electric fire for the colder months, whilst the kitchen comprises of an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. The dining table seats up to six people, and is situated by the bay window offering superb views during meal times, and there is also access to a balcony. From the lounge, stairs lead up to the second floor where you will find the two remaining bedrooms. The first has a king-size bed with access to a south-facing balcony, the smaller second has twin single beds; the two rooms share a bathroom, with shower over bath and WC.

The outside space of this property features two south-facing balconies, accessed via the lounge and the second-floor bedroom, and have a bistro table with chairs and views across the river. There is garage parking for one small sized car at the end of the row of five terraced houses.

A very comfortable light house and well situated for the town. An excellent Italian Restaurant opposite. Don't expect to watch the boats sailing by. The water is silted up and nothing moves.

Spent three nights with friends at this property. The open plan layout was perfect as a sociable space and it was lovely to eat at the dining table overlooking the river. Very comfortable seating and kitchen had everything we required. Bedroom with the single beds was smaller than expected and the garage would only be suitable for a very small car.Read more However car park just across the road. Overall would recommend this property. Hide

Perfect location for Rye town just a walk up the hill, lovely and warm, nicely decorated. Ideal for our family of 6 though 3rd bedroom is quite small for adults.It was nice to eat at the big table and look out over the estuary even though there is a road between but the double glazing cuts out all noise.Very happy with our stay.

Very comfortable cottage three storey, bedroom en-suite shower and separate toilet downstairs on ground floor with a utility area. Lounge, dining room and kitchen with small balcony on the first floor. Top floor king bed bedroom with wardrobe and a narrow balcony, bathroom and twin bedroom. Furnishings and decor really good throughout. A small garaRead morege in a block close by otherwise parking has to be paid for. Quay view but a busy road outside. The property was well equipped and the location is great for walking into Rye with lots of good places to eat. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. The house is lovely for a family and our grandson enjoyed the box of toys. Our car didn't fit in the garage but it wasn't a problem as there is nearby parking which is not expensive. The beds were cleRead morean and comfortable and the bathrooms clean with good showers. The only disappointment was that the standard of cleaning in the kitchen which was poor. Hide
