Discover peace and tranquility, and a warm welcome behind the facade of this imposing building. This first-floor apartment for two, located close to Eastbourne's shops, attractions and beach, offers a stylish and romantic getaway.

Situated within the owner's house, the apartment has its own private entrance on the ground floor. Follow the staircase to enter the elegant, calming lounge with an attractive feature fireplace and neutral decor. The large bay window adds to the spaciousness of the light-filled room, and overlooking the local cricket ground, it creates a quintessential English room with a view. A useful bed settee provides additional sleeping space for two extra guests by arrangement. By contrast, the well-equipped kitchen is contemporary with clean lines, where you can cook your favourite meals. The property's bedroom is a restful double room, and the stylish shower room has a large walk-in wet room. Outside, there is a secluded garden, with a decked seating area to sit back and chill at wine o'clock.

The apartment is located on a residential street overlooking Saffrons Cricket Ground, ideally situated if visiting the university, and only 1 mile from Eastbourne's lovingly-restored Victorian pier, with attractions including a jazz club, traditional fish and chips and a tearoom. Eastbourne, the sunniest place in Britain, also has a theatre and art gallery to enjoy. The seafront offers shingle and sand, depending on tides. A great selection of restaurants and quirky independent shops are presented in Little Chelsea (2 miles). To the west of the town, and easily accessible on foot from the apartment, is the start of the South Down's Way, with Beachy Head (3 miles) and its breathtaking vistas.

Good location and close to all amenities, parking may be a problem but we were lucky and managed to park the car outside the property for most of our stay.

Spacious well equipped apartment with nice outlook over sports ground. We visited in November and the apartment was nice and warm. Central location for Eastbournes amenities

We had a great stay at Saffrons Apartment, we travelled by train so it was convenient for us and for for the town centre and seafront. Apartment is clean and tidy with what we needed for the week in a quiet residential area with good transport links for days out, we went on a bus tour, and by train to Lewes, Rye and Hastings.
