A converted Victorian terraced property in the delightful seaside town of Whitstable is the perfect holiday home for a city-based family or group of friends who want to relax in style by the sea. Comfortably sleeping six across three bedrooms, you'll find everything you need for a few days off to unwind.

Stylishly decorated throughout, the property is an expert combination of trendy interior and traditional aesthetics. The living room offers space to relax in front of the TV/DVD with Netflix, as well as an open fire for those chilly evenings. French doors lead from the kitchen to a glorious patio space with dining table and BBQ, and a lawn to the bottom of the garden has deckchairs for relaxing whilst the children play. The entire outdoor area is bright with wonderful flowers and greenery. Back inside, two king-size bedrooms make comfortable sleeping spots for four adults, and a cosy bunk bedroom is a compact space for two kids.

The property lies just 500 yards from Whitstable's town centre, and the town offers plenty of independent shops, pubs and eateries. Famous for its oysters, you must try the fresh local shellfish whilst here, and take a trip down to the delightful pebbled beach which is the perfect spot for kids to play. For arty groups, the town boasts plenty of galleries with fishy themes! Fancy heading a little further afield? Just 5.5 miles away rests the popular seaside town of Herne Bay, which is home to a glorious stony beach and harbour. My family & I had a great time in Whitstable. The cottage was lovely, lots of old worldly charm retaining the character of the property, whilst accommodating the needs of a family with teenagers. The garden was great as our dog could roam around safely. The location was fabulous, with a 10 minute walk to the beach & less than 5 minutes into the HigRead moreh Street. Unfortunately we did not have use of the washing machine during our stay, however the owners kindly recompensed us for the inconvenience. Hide

Lovely shabby chic vibe, loved the fairy lights, atmosphere and decor of Samphire Cottage. Good garden space when weather nice enough to sit outside. Rather too much crockery and large pans, a few small saucepans would not go amiss. Would have preferred emptier kitchen cupboards. Helpful local information provided by owners, map and hamper a thoughRead moretful gesture. Good location although parking a bit tricky as local people need their own spaces. But perhaps an issue for local council to sort? Hide

Lovely comfy, cosy holiday cottage in a really great location, close enough to the action but also nice and quiet.
