This pretty cottage is in an enviable position within walking distance from Camber Sands, a sandy beach which contrasts with the other pebble and shingle beaches you’ll find in the region. Perfect not only for a family day at the seaside, Camber Sands is also a popular water sports destination. Just a five-minute drive away, you’ll find Dungeness and its completely different landscape, characterised by a shingle beach, wild beauty and a variety of wildlife. The town of Rye is also close by and is perfect for a day out with its selection of cafes, restaurants and famous antique shops.
Entering this bright and spacious property, the front door opens into a hallway, which has storage for coats and shoes as well as a downstairs WC. Approached from the hallway is the open-plan lounge/diner, a wonderful space for socialising and relaxing in. In the dining area, the dining table easily seats six and is ideal for evening meals. Over in the lounge area, guests can relax on the comfortable sofas and armchairs, and keep themselves entertained with the TV/DVD and the selection of books, films and games available. From here, a sliding door leads out into a lovely and light conservatory. Complete with rattan furniture, this is the perfect place to wake up with a cup of coffee in the morning, enjoying the views out over the garden. Over in the kitchen, there is everything you’ll need to fully enjoy your stay here including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine. The kitchen also has its own dining table with chairs, ideal for more casual and laid-back meals. There is also a bathroom on the ground floor, which features a shower over the bath and WC. Stairs from the hallway lead up to the first floor, where the three pretty bedrooms can be found. These comprise of two king-size bedrooms as well as a bedroom with bunk beds, which is ideal for children. A shower room with WC can also be found on this floor.
Outside of the property, approached either from the conservatory or the side gate, you will find the large and contemporary-style rear garden, which has to be one of the stand-out features of this property. Here the patio, complete with both garden furniture and a BBQ, gives away to the rest of the beach-themed garden: a shingled area with several grasses, as well as a decking boardwalk leading through it, a memorable extra touch. To the front of the property is a large and enclosed parking area, with enough off-road parking space to fit three cars. There is also an outside tap perfect for washing off sandy feet after a day at the beach.
