This spacious beach-style property is situated behind the dunes at Camber Sands and is just minutes from the beach. As its name suggests, Camber Sands is popular due to its wide expanse of golden sands, which is rare for this stretch of coast, where most beaches are shingle. There is everything here for beach lovers, whether they prefer quietly relaxing, having a go at water sports or walking amongst the dunes. Within a short drive is the town of Rye, with its cobbled streets, small shops and many places to eat. Near to Rye is the pretty village of Rye Harbour, which has a beach front RSPB nature reserve and a gastropub.
As soon as you step inside this gorgeous, weather boarded house, you will immediately get a feel for the property’s signature style. Contemporary and seasidey at the same time, the property has a light and airy feel throughout. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is the heart of the house and has some lovely arty touches in the decor. The kitchen has everything you will need, with double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and coffee machine. The large dining table comfortably seats ten and is positioned next to the French doors which lead out to the garden. In addition to this room, is a separate snug room, which has comfortable sofas, TV and a lovely retro cabinet full of DVDs. There is a downstairs bedroom which has a king-size bed. You will also find a ground floor shower room, as well as a separate WC which also acts as a laundry room, with washing machine and metal trough-style sink, perfect for rinsing off wet suits or flip-flops. The rest of the bedrooms are found on the first floor and all are decorated in a chic seaside style. There are two super-king-size zip-and-link bedrooms (which can be made into a twin on request). There are two further bedrooms, each with twin beds. The main bathroom is stunning with its large freestanding bath and WC, whilst there is also a shower room with large shower and WC.
French doors from the property’s dining area open on to an enclosed garden which has a picnic bench table as well as patio furniture to enjoy dining al fresco. The area has garden lights and outdoor power so that you can stay out long after the sun has gone down. Children will enjoy the large sandpit complete with toys. There is private parking for three cars at the side of the property.
Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
