This sea view property is located in Hastings, close to the Old Town area, which is known for its cobbled lanes, independent shops and fresh fish restaurants. The famous beach is just a short walk away, and can be accessed via a wonderful funicular railway which climbs up and down the cliff with views across the beach and sea. The ruins of Hastings Castle, the stronghold of William the Conqueror are close to the property and offer a great day out for those with an interest in history.
Enter the property via the hallway and discover the ground floor dining room with its dining table and table football, perfect for an after-dinner competition. Also on this floor is the kitchen, with its range cooker, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A separate utility room houses an additional sink, washing machine and tumble dryer. Once you have finished preparing your meals, head to the spacious dining room, where you will find a light-filled bay window, large dining table with seating for all, and a table football to keep the family entertained. Wooden stairs lead to the first floor, where you will find the stunning lounge with sea views to Hastings Pier, a large sofa, and comfy chair. There is a TV and also DVD player. The master bedroom suite is also on the first floor and has king-size zip-and-link bed which may be made up as two singles at request, a TV with games console and games and an en-suite shower room which has an amazing enclosed wooden sauna (with paymeter). Passing a large library wall on the half landing, stairs take you up the second floor where you will find another room with king-size bed, which has a telescope in the bay window to enjoy the views across to the sea. The spacious bathroom is to the rear of this floor, and has a walk-in shower as well as large corner spa-bath. There is also an exercise bike in here, should you be missing the gym.
To the rear of the property, is a partially covered courtyard garden, which is accessed through the utility room. Here you will find comfy chairs, a charcoal BBQ and a dartboard. Parking is available on the surrounding streets, although the owner supplies a permit for two hours on arrival day.
